wait until you get to season 4 :)
^Agreed. Season Four has some awesome episodes.
I have seriously decided that whenever I get a tattoo (Which will be a good while from now), I am going to get this:
It is the "Seal of Rassilon," which is the official seal of Gallifrey. I am such a dork, but I love it. It has a huge Celtic influence which I dig.

Well, at least Tennant has hair on his chest. There was a part of me terrified he'd look like a twelve-year-old under there.

It cracks me up that his chest hair is red. So sexy.
And Siren, I agree...there are some standout episodes in season three, but season four is just amazing.
It's the Scottish in him. My family is of Scottish/Irish descent and my hair is brown, but my beard is red. I hate being two toned but there it be.
Gotta love the Scottish.
I've never seen that seal before (but then again, I haven't been able to watch the old series). It looks interesting.
Yeah, that's the old seal. The one in the new series looks like this:
I actually like this one better but it wouldn't probably work as a tattoo
slightly off topic -- my Hamlet dvd arrived today from the RSC. Got my film for the weekend!
Yeah, the other one looks like it would work better as a tattoo.
Have fun watching Hamlet, kec. I've heard it's good.
Did Hamlet ever broadcast in England?
It aired on Boxing Day. The DVD was released in the UK on January 4.
I am watching it right now. It is BRILLIANT
I really want to see it. I might just wait until it comes out here in April, though, since by that time my English class will be (or will have been) knee deep in Hamlet.
I love this version so much because it is grounded in reality. Usually with Shakespeare plays, the actors overdo the acting and sometimes it's hard to understand what is being meant by the words. All of the actors (especially Tennant and Stewart) say every word with such passion. LOVE IT!

*Cries* I'm dying to see Hamlet. I just don't have one of those multi reagion dvd players. And since my laptop is a PC, I'm not sure it would play it.
I'm still so bitter Broadway got the Donmar production instead of the RSC one. Nothing against Judde Law, I've never disliked him. I just think David Tennant is by far the better actor.
I agree, but at least we have the RSC production on film, forever preserved.
There is a lovely photo of David taken at last night's opening in London if Legally Blonde.

It would have been great if the RSC production had come to Broadway. I can't wait to see it when it airs. Having seen one version of Hamlet, I can now compare the two (as my English teacher likes to do).
I might have liked to have seen Jude Law, as well...
I don't understand why things still get aired SOOOOO far apart from each other from England to USA
Well, you can't blame this one on BBCA; PBS is airing Hamlet on April 28. Apparently they will also air Macbeth with Patrick Stewart sometime this year as well.
Oh, I was just really using BBC America as an example. Speaking of BBC America, since they premiered "End of Time Pt. 1 and 2" the night after the UK premier, so you think they will do that with season 5?
They'll probably air it a week behind schedule or something like that. Although I don't see why they can't air it the same day. The U.K. would still get it before us, as they're six hours ahead.
But the wait for Doctor Who hasn't been terrible (not compared to Hamlet, anyway).
I think it more likely they'll air the new series a week behind the UK.
