Just saw it. Greatest computer animated landscapes in cinema history. Pixar has done it again.
And the story is pretty good too. It's charming, sweet, and likable.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to see it this weekend. I'm a big fan of Pixar's films.

I took six kids to it this afternoon. They liked it. I wasn't crazy about it. The animation was great and the story was okay, but it's a bit long for a kid's movie and I lost interest.
Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our fingers through the flame?
Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?

It was better than I expected. The story is probably the most formulaic of the Pixar library, but it's quite charming nonetheless. And as usual, the voice cast is excellent. I even liked Larry the Cable Guy okay, and I can't stand him usually.
Plus, there's a lovely tribite to Joe Ranft at the end.

I heard it was much better than The Incredibles. I like Pixar animation, it's very cool looking. But that's just what I've heard from a NASCAR fan after she saw the movie. It looks very good though. I like the car with the voice of Larry The Cable Guy from the commericals.
The course of true love never did run smooth.

It was adorable and Larry the Cable Guy was tolerable, even endearing. I loved the scenes playing during the credits. It is a very well done movie in both voice talent and animation skill. I loved it.

I liked it a lot. In fact, there hasn't been one Pixar film that I haven't warmed up to. Larry the Cable Guy and Bonnie Hunt, I felt, were the best.

I really enjoyed it, as well as the short film before. I think the thing I appreciated most about the movie was the time and how well it worked with the plot. It didn't feel like it should have been longer or shorter, it was just the right amount of time and a very complete story.

My friend Donne saw it, and he said it's his least favorite Pixar film.
The Incredibles comes in first, with Finding Nemo coming in a very close second.

I must be weird - I find the whole idea od the film really creepy - like a bad Twilight Zone episode. It's a world where there are no people - just cars and other machines. I can see from the commercials that there are trees and other plant life, but are there even animals? This kind of stuff gives me nightmares!

Looks wonderful, but the worst pixar movie.
It lacked magic, it was 2 very long hours in the cinema.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

Jon, there are no animals, the cows are tractors (they go Tractor Tipping) and the insects are VW "bugs" (which I thought was adorable).

My sister *really* wants to see this movie, and she'll stop at nothing to see it. She'll probably end up dragging me along as well.

Why do Pixar films have such generic names, i.e. TOY STORY, A BUG'S LIFE, ROBOTS, CARS. What's next? COMPUTERS?

I saw it the other day with my little cousins - 3 years old, 10 years old, and 12 years old.
They basically could take it or leave it.
After hearing the rave reviews, I couldn't wait to see it - but I was slightly disappointed. Not enough comedy, and a paper thin plot. I enjoyed the graphics...but overall, disappointed.
Joel Siegel, in his review, said that Paul Newman should be nominated for an Oscar.
This is the same man that said King Kong should be nominated for best actor.
I think he needs to find a new job.

Right on, Greekmusicalfan. That's one of my biggest pet peeves: when people mistakenly label certain films as Pixar.
I have not yet seen Cars, but I think it looks good, albeit, not up to Pixar's usual high standards.
