It's the question that no one seems to be able to answer! Is just one of them right? Both? Neither? Is it anyway or anyways?

I'm pretty sure it's "anyway."
"Anyways" sounds kind of informal and slang to me.
Edit. Just looked it up. According to Dictionary.com, "anyways" is not considered a word.
My Dictionary widget tells me that "anyways" is the informal/dialect form of "anyway."

I forgot to say--no cheating! You can't look it up in a dictionary.
Great guys. Now I look lazy...
"Anyways" is informal slang, and only a word because people continue to use it even though it's incorrect. No teacher will or SHOULD accept the word in a formal paper.
I'm pretty sure it's anyway. My 8th grade English teacher used to scold us over and over for saying "anyways" and "I'm done" instead of finished. He claimed only turkeys could be done.

It's anyway. My mom actually used to scold me when I used anyways. Haha.

I had been told last summer that anywayS is not a word, but I always hear more people saying anyways than anyway in conversation.

Well, as I'm sure we all know, popular usage =/= correct grammar.
I have to admit, it kind of drives me insane when people say "anyways".
Anyways ranks right up there with 'totes'.
When did people get so lazy?

Irregardless of which one you use, it gets the point across.

Sure, who cares if they sound like an idiot as long as they get their point across?

I don't understand why people need to add an S onto the end of this word. Doesn't it just drag it out?
well maybe there's more than one anyway, didja ever thank of that?
The one that bugs me (well, one of the ones) is when people say "That's besides the point."
