It's always a pleasure for me to see Caroline Aaron and Paul Macrane in anything, so, cudos to the casting people. Great, great episode.
I killed the boss, you don't think they're gonna fire me over a thing like that!!!!

Mmmm, I ADORE America but I think it's time for Mary-Louise Parker to get an Emmy for her incredibly brilliant portrayal of Nancy Botwin in WEEDS. Though her strongest competition at the Emmys will be Tina Fey.

This was the weakest episode of the season so far. Meh.

Was pretty crappy and if I saw IRS play, I'd want a refund.

Wow, I'm not in step with ANYONE these days! I thought this episode was hilarious.

Was this a new episode? I hadn't seen it before, but I don't remember seeing any ads for a new episode. I liked it. It's nice to see Henry getting the attention from women he would so obviously get in real life looking like Christopher Gorham. Though, I would have preferred some vocal dubbing for Amanda, Betty and Henry. Yikes!

Yes, it was new. I thought the same thing about Henry. And I loved Amanda's song. I thought it was a funny episode. I loved Judith Light in a turban. I loved that funky dress (coat?) that Alexis wore that had a kind of military feel to it.

I thought it was ok.
And I seriously can't get over how drop-dead gorgeous Rebecca Romjin is. Truly.

I refuse to believe that pick up line thing really works. I think it would only work if the guy was hot like the two of them. Otherwise a lot of guys would be getting slapped across the face. I was trying to explain it to my brother, but I couldn't remember any examples of some of their lines.

I just can't get over how good she is on the show. This show always seems to be able to play to its actor's strengths.

BTW, for those Alan Dale fans out there... looks like he'll be in London playing a king:

Hey, they didn't have a DNA test yet. We'll see. Although, I am getting a little tired of the "who's my daddy" storyline. It hasn't helped in keeping Amanda and Marc from becoming the new Jack and Karen.

when i criticized this past episode, i shouldve been more specific; my problem was the Daniel & Renee (AKA RHONDA) storyline. maybe if they had built her character a little more before she & Daniel hooked up. also if she didnt seem more like Willi's "daughter" than "sister".

I definitely think it shows that this was not their intended finale. I feel like it was supposed to be an in between show, that established some story lines, which it was kinda boring- well not as fun and exciting as some of their big shows. But it was still cute as always. Can't wait to see where it goes from here...someday.

Even though the strike is keeping it from airing new episodes, can we please talk Marc and Amanda?
I watched Season One this past week and found myself constantly rewinding to re-watch scenes with either of them in it...especially Amanda.

It really is a perfectly cast show. Urie is great, but I think more deserving of supporting noms are Newton, Vanessa Williams and the fabulous Judith Light.
