I loved Posh Spice in this show.
I've been a HUGE fan of the Spice Girls since 1997.
Frankly I thought the episode was MAJOR.
Actually CJR - That is not Rufus but Jeff Buckley singing. Is Bradford the death that we all speculated about at the beginning of the season?

Is it just me, or was this one of the best episodes for one-liners EVER? I literally spat Coke all over my computer screen at Wilhemina's "Mama's weave can't get sweaty" line.
And I have to admit, I didn't care a whit when Bradford collapsed, but I definitely teared up at how happy Ignacio was when Betty showed up for his citizenship ceremony.
How cute was Christopher saying he wanted to sneak out of bed and brush his teeth before Betty woke up? That was great. And I liked his hair sans product. But, her response was a little unbelievable. Is anyone really like that? And speaking of which where was her head gear?
"I can't say that I ever pay much mind to Times Square, but Im pretty sure the Little Mermaid ad is really there.
The Milkshake scene KILLED me. I love Amanda.
I teared up when Betty got fired.... and I lost it when Daniel started trying to do CPR on his father and Hallelujah by Rufus Wainright started playing in the background. That song always kills me."
I wonder if that Mermaid sign is real, since there is already one. Amanda=BRILLIANCE. Anyone else think that Betty will get her job back? What is Ugly Betty without MODE? That song was really sad.
But, her response was a little unbelievable. Is anyone really like that? And speaking of which where was her head gear?
Just about every married couple I've ever met.
"Mama can't get her weave sweaty on her big day" was absolutely my favorite line on ANY show in a long time.
She always has the best lines. A few episodes ago, she barked at Marc "Follow the crumbs, GRETEL! Meade Publications can only have ONE Fashion Magazine, right????"
If Henry woke up next to me looking so adorable, I would have the same reaction as Betty.
Also cute to see Marc finally realize his feelings for Cliff (although I did like him pre-makeover). I think he was only signed for three eps, so I hope they bring him back for more.
Still hard to believe Vanessa and Rick Fox were once married in real life. Now THAT is a sexy couple!

True -- I didnt think it sounded quite right. In general, that song kills me. Doesnt matter who's singing it lol
I dont think he's the death we've all been speculating about, unless he crashes while he's in the hospital.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
CJR, you sure look cute in your photo. I like the whole Mark and Amanda duo. They remind me of Karen and Jack on Will & Grace.
I totally agree about Marc and Amanda! They are the new Jack and Karen!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuI love the Marc-Amanda/Jack-Karen-ness. I do feel bad for Alan Dale, the actor who plays Bradford. If Bradford doesn't make it, he's going to have to fight hard to avoid being typecast as cold, distant, financially successful fathers who die conveniently at important moments in serial network comedy/dramas. :-p

i didnt wanna be the first to post. but i was a snotty sobbing mess all through tonights episode
(except for all the laughs)
At the end, especially the sneak preview of next week's show, I couldn't believe how evil Willhemina is!
Oh! How could I forget Judith Light's debut as a Chita Rivera look-a-like?! That was priceless.
The tears started falling after Bradford died. *sniff*
Of course Betty is going back to Mode!!

wow what a bunch of cry-babies! LOL
I kid, tonight's episode was very special.
Chita Rivera!!!!! Poor Bradford....Not a dry eye in the house
C'mon Curly.
Right behind you Mo!
I laughed all through the commercial break. I'm not sure why. And did anyone else melt over the whole "Now who's the bossy one?" and then Christopher said "You know you love it..." ugh... I'm gonna have to rewatch that a couple thousand times.

I love this show so much.
"If I ate lunch, this is where I would lose it."
They are spot on - and keep getting better.
I know I'm going to sound like one of those idiots who only care about their Broadway tickets, but I really hope the writer's strike situation gets resolved so this doesn't get interupted.
God, that's sick.
But I mean it.
