Being taken to see my first Broadway show, even though I was a little too young: Van Johnson in The Music Man, on Easter Sunday, and not being able to see because the lady in front of me was wearing an enormous Easter bonnet so I shouted out "Hey, lady! Take off your HAT!"

Being taken to the Hayden Planetarium, even though I was too young and making it all the way through the star show until the announcer said something about the planet Venus, to which I decided to reply in a voice loud enough to be heard by all "Venus? That sounds like PENIS!"

Watching the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and then being taken to the concert at Shea Stadium - probably the only 5 year old there.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

The 1.98 Beauty Pageant !!!

Craig, Thanks for reminding me! I loved that show.

I once ran in to Rip Taylor at a resturant. I told him that that show had warped my sense of humor. He seemed proud of the fact.

Man! That show was warped!!!

I believe it was change from a dollar. You could probably get a burger, fries, and soda for less than a buck.

Does anyone remember days before zip codes?
An address would read: New York 27, NY

No it wouldn't. It would read: New York 27, N.Y.

Connecticut was abbreviated Conn. or Ct.
Not CT

Wisconsin was Wisc.
Not WI

A Slide Ruler was/is correctly called a slide rule.

The 2-digit code, prior to zip codes was called the zone code. Mine in Philadelpia, was 25. ZIP stands for Zone Improvement Program.
