Which reminds me of him tossing his pastor of 20 years. Essentially, the only thing I think he actually believes in is himself, and his desire to 'have' and 'get'. Power, that is.

Posted: 10/28/10 at 4:21pmI wasn't saying empathy was good enough, just that it's much harder to be enraged at somebody who says he hears what you're saying than somebody who doesn't even acknowledge it. The way Obama minimized the concerns of gay activist yesterday put him closer to the W end of the spectrum than Clinton's. That's my point to these exasperated queries about why some of us are pissed at the president we have right now.
