Yes. Dallas! The Metroplex.
Where its cheap to live, the weather is great, and hosts QUITE REMARKABLE local theatre!!!
(Not to mention the best damn BBQ you EVER ate!!!)
What more can you say about a place where you can visit Southfork Ranch AND the THE Original Neiman-Marcus!
Let's hear it for Dallas!!!

Loved the character of Phyllis because it was the first(only?)time I could remember a pretty woman being given that name. Phyllis Diller really ruined it for those of us given that homely name.
Back to Dallas - visited it for the first time last summer. Great place, but my God, it's surrounded by miles and miles of flat land. Loved the people!

Yep, bluemoon.
Dallas IS kind of on the "static" side when it comes to scenery.
But there are LOVELY flowers and plants in the Dallas Arboreteum!

Bluemoon - all these years later, she's still beautiful.
And Judith Baldwin - didn't she end up on GH? That name puts me in mind of one of my favorite long-ago GH characters...(I didn't actually watch Dallas...)

According to the IMDB, Baldwin's only experience with daytime soaps was a brief stint on "The Bold and The Beautiful".

The high-rise blue-plate Office Building that was portrayed on "Dallas" as the location of Cliff Barnes' Oil Company is actualy the Fina Oil and Chemical Building.
I was on a consulting project with Fina there for six months!
