Seriously, sing some old school country like Patsy Cline, or Dolly.
Or some of the early Dixie Chicks.
Reba, Emmylou Harris, Allison Krauss, Loretta Lynn.
Sing "Stand by Your Man"- Tammy Wynette.
or "Harper Valley PTA"
There is so much you could have some fun with.
And I don't even like country music.
Ohhh SNAP! Charisma's back on Veronica Mars!
You're just now watching?!
Yeah! I went out during the east coast airing so I'm watching Pacific instead.
Oooh! Oooh! And she's arrested? God I love this show.
Ah. It's an ok episode. The script is good, but it's the first episode Rob Thomas actually directed.
Methinks he shouldn't quit his day job. Some of the cut-away shots are very awkward.
Ohhhhhh, I second Harper Valley PTA! You could change the names to incriminate BWW's guilty! I used to do that in a bar with a band I sang with. ALL the regulars were in it and they would cackle!
We've just ran the teaser and opening credits. We shall see!
(Why Rob Thomas of all people?? HELLO JOSSSSSS!!)
Ooo Rob Thomas!! He's country, I'm pretty sure.
Spider, I love Rascal Flatts! What song are you doing?
TheatreDiva612: Crystal Gayle, "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue"...HOW PERFECT?!
Wrong Rob Thomas. You're thinking him:
And we mean him:
And no...Matchbox 20 is not country.
And JFTR, this southern boy can't believe some of the stuff that's being suggested here as "country." That ain't country, y'all...come take a peek at my iTunes if you want a sample, and I don't even LIKE country
Oh man, I used to sing that!! I LOVE that song!! I think it's too low for me now or I'd steal it.

JAC: Any ideas for yourself? Garth?? YES?!
I'm tryin' to help them understand.
It ain't a-workin' though.
Jaily, that was my very first favorite song when I was little...lol. Such a great song. I am still baffled by the fact that Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle could have been raised in the same home. Thier accents are SO different. I think Crystal must have worked hard to get rid of hers.
It's ok, SP, them yanks don't understand.
And Allie, I actually am doing a Garth song...
I have almost no trace of a southern accent, but my little sister has a drawl to end all drawls, I never worked to rid myself of it, I just never really got it.
I think it helped that I REALLY didn't want it.
As it is, I only sound southern on certain words.
Yeah, I don't, either - my parents aren't American and you can get away with living in Atlanta and not having an accent, so the two of those combined left me southern-accent free!
And that HAIR...THE HAIR!!!!!!!!!
I was BEYOND obsessed with CG as a kid...remember when she was on Days Of Our Lives and got killed in front of her dressing room mirror?? LOVED IT!!!!!!
Hey guys, some country songs I'll accept. "Don't Phunk With My Heart", "Miss Independent", "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Smooth" by the ultimate of country crooners, Rob Thomas (not the TV director - btw, I'm not really feelin' this episode, Kitz).
Brownie points if it's by a black country singer, like Usher or 50 Cent. You win the competition if you introduce it as, "This is TheatreDiva612 covering Fiddy."
Not my favorite either. But it's still better than the last episode.
JESUS CHRIST, I hate Duncan Kane. He needs a personality transplant asap!!!

JAC: YOU ARE?! *thud* I am going to enjoy that a LOT.
Tiff, NONE OF THOSE ARE COUNTRY SONGS! Those would all fit into the previous category, not this one...
I'll give you a lesson in bed tonight
