I think they hate Obama too much to not even try. To just 'let him have it' does not make sense judging by their track record over the past 4 years.I would think if they are considering a new candidate that they would have dropped some settle hints by now.Yesterday George W.Bush publicly endorsed Mitt Romney and it did not even make the news.A former President endorsing a Political Candidate and the Romney Campaign has not even released a statement or commented on it,let alone the media?

As of this week, between Romney, the RNC and right-wing PACS, Obama is being outspent better than 2-1 in the top 10 battleground media markets. Perhaps those rich old white men will buy themselves a presidnet after all.

Or perhaps they will simply spend a lot of money on a candidate no one votes for.

Yesterday George W.Bush publicly endorsed Mitt Romney and it did not even make the news.
At this point, there simply isn't anything newsworthy about endorsing Romney. And it's no surprise that Bush waited until his endorsement is meaningless.

Bush has been very adamant about staying out of the public's eye.

Could it be because he knows most Americans find him responsible for the economic mess we are in?

What do we want from Mitt? BLOOD? Well, it's our tough luck if we do. Robots don't have blood.

I thought this was remarkably clear-eyed (and fair) on the whole Bain issue.
