Booo! Way to go Embry. Poor Bronson pitches another good game (7 innings and 1 run) and still comes away w/ no win. Also, a nice tip of the hat to Ramon Vasquez who left runners on 1st and 3rd, fly out...What a pisser.
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

I have tickets now to 17 games, I might get more but we'll see if it's worth it. My season ticket seats are in Tier 2, row F- so upper deck right behind home plate, in the 6th row. Not too bad!
And maybe that Cubs game on May 27th too, if I can get a ticket.

Awesome. I think I have only attended 12 in one year. I will shoot for 6 this year. Time is always the issue with me - wife, kids, work.

Understandable. I have no wife (or husband), no kids (except the 1200 from work), and work? Eh, low on the priority chain.

The oldest really loves to go to Wrigley, and does not want to leave until the end no matter how cold. Last year they attended many games with great seats. The youngest loves to talk about it, but runs out of gas...
I try to get out of the seats every third inning, so they do not get restless. Ilike to take them to the upper deck balcony that overlooks Cubby Bear.

Wow I wish I could go to so many games. I've never gone to more than 4 or 5 in season. I remember also making my parents stay for every last pitch, I'm still that way 
.
I'm hoping that living here in NYC I can catch a few more games, I went to the game against the Twins in the playoffs last year where the yankees came back twice and won in eleven, it was great fun.
Braves lost again, and the Yanks. At least the Cubbies pulled it out for you Brdlwyr.

Ah, just like my kids at work! Cute ages though.
I love going to games in the summer, glad I went in on a season ticket package this year. I love day games where I can work on my tan, and evening games are just fun and relaxing at the ballpark. Of all the parks I've been to, I like Yankee Stadium the best! (Wrigley is next!)

brdlwyr, I was just watching Sports Center...It was painful watching Nomar take that fall. Looks like this'll throw one hell of a wrench in your season. Sorry to see it pal.

Whatever you think of Nomar, any male suffering a groin injury is to be pitied. I hate Mike Piazza, for instance, but I felt awful when he hurt himself that way. Ouch.

Oh I know Plum!!! I don't particularly care for the way he left Boston (though I wonder how much of his problem was friggin Boras) but he was good to Boston for many years (both as a player and in the community). I sat there jaw dropped, hand over my mouth, wincing watching that replay this evening. The agony on his face was painful to watch.
