The Braves pulled a win, and roughed up Clemens. Wow is it nice to have Smoltzy back as a starter.

We can only hope the playoffs here in NY are not interrupted by Tammy's visit and the resulting rain it will dump on the tri-state area for the next three to five days.

I am hoping the momentum swings to the Braves side.
The kids have the veterans pumped up. Oswalt is good, but he doesn't terrify me.

i quit cheering for the indians when they signed john rocker. man dissed my train 'n sh*t. so being an american leaguer and living in nyc at the time, i chose the yanks.

The Indians do have a hugely promising future. They didn't make it this year, but they'll be a force in the AL in the next few years. Meanwhile, I'm just hoping what few prospects the Yanks have in the lower levels of the minors turn out to have some use.

I don't know what it is with me and mocking Johnny Damon, but that was definitely the highlight of the Yanks/Red Sox game I attended last month. Ah, poor Unfrozen Caveman Center Fielder. 
On the other hand, I knew the Yankees were poorly matched with the Angels. Oy. If they lose this series, the only positive thing left in the game for me will be the hope that my long-ago prediction of a White Sox championship comes true.
Score a frickin' run, people! It's only Paul Byrd, for cripes' sake! Ugh.
