I thought it was interesting how the Norman side was trying to deny the Norma side in a mental battle. It was beautifully done. But it seems that Norma won out. Highmore is one fine actor.

Both of these actors deserve some Emmy and Globes love, they are giving superb performances.

Some really clever and tricky camera work this week as well, for those that notice that sort of thing. The first shot of the episode, when the camera was hovering over the motel sign, then moved downward and out into the parking lot through the legs of the sign (as Marion drove in). And then later in the episode when the camera went through the framed needlework on the motel room wall to Norman's eye.

I'm really curious how this will end. Norman goes into a pysch institution? Jail? Killed?

I believe that in the Psycho film, Sam Loomis is the one that came back and caught Norman. Maybe, with the shower twist, Marion is now the one to come back and catch Norman.

Jane, I found that interesting as well. They are really treading a fine line about blaming in part, the problem with Norman's latent homosexuality. Or maybe I am reading too much into it.

This weeks episode was stunning. If Highmore doesn't take home an Emmy for this, these awards will have lost all validity for me. I will miss this series so much when it goes.

Holy Crap! Episode 7 really rocked! From the Dr twist till the very end! Have to say, the shot of Norman and Norma in the snowy woods was quite beautifully shot!

Yes, it was. I was shocked when Norma jumped in and tried to kill Dylan. That actor was good with his reactions to Norman being Norma, but he doesn't compare to Highmore. I know I keep saying it, but he blows me away. The emotions that go through his mind and heart are subtly all there on his face. I'm as mesmerized by him as much as I was in the first episode.

Jane. Yes, Highmore was good in the first season but he has grown so much! These past two seasons have really let him shine!

Yes, just watch the latest episode and it was amazing. That kitchen scene with Norman, Dylan & "Norma" was brilliant. So sad there's only 3 more episodes.

I love that sheriff Greene is the girl in the well from Silence of the Lambs.

The back and forth with Norman and "Norma" was fantastic. Excellent directing & Highmore is outstanding yet again! Only two more episodes to go. Very curious how this will end.

I think I saw Sheriff Greene get off a NY subway car yesterday.
I thought the episode tonight was surprising slow moving considering that the series concludes next week.

I, too, thought last night's episode was dragging. Too much focus on Emma & Dylan. I'm just curious how this will end. There's so many possibilities with what will happen to Norman.

I'm glad it didn't drag for me. Anyway, how did sheriff Romero know that Norma's body wasn't in its grave?

Just finished watching this last episode. It didn't drag for me at all. It was a much deserved conclusion to Emma character's arc. Also poignantly showed Dillan's struggle. It will be interesting to see how Norman's and Romero's conflict plays out over Norma's corpse.
Could there be a way out where Romero is killed and the framed with the murders? Certainly would supply reasonable doubt!

Really not a fan of this season. I was excited for them to tackle the Psycho storyline last year, but they are ruining it for me. Wish it ended last season and left the rest up for imagination.

Jane, the crazy writer guy told him before Romero killed him. He was writing in Norma's 'Throne Room' in the basement.

I kind of felt let down with the final episode. The writing was pretty sloppy with an "OK, let's end this thing in the most obvious of ways."

well, when Dylan's friend gave him that gun, you knew what was coming. Otherwise, I really was moved in a scary way.

I was hoping, one Dylan got the gun, it was going to be more of a George and Lenny scene.
