I agree! Kristy is not cute when she is green.

And in that picture of Idina in the blue outfit with the beanie... she looks a little manly, don't you think?

Idina, definitely. Then Stephanie. She looks great in that picture.
I also agree that the green is the least flattering on Shoshana.

i'm not a huge fan of shosh in the makeup. i think she's really pretty, but green just isn't her color.

but there is just something about the way idina looked...maybe she isn't the "best" or maybe she is, but i just like remembering her as she was.

Well Idina was always the original Elphaba in my mind and always will be. My personal opinion is that some of the Elphies look better in the green but Idina still looks great in the makeup. As said before, Saycon is probably my favorite so far and many can see why in the above picture.

I think the reason Saycon looks so good in the green is because they use brown as the contour color, as opposed to blue, which is used on the other ladies. It just feels a bit more... natural than blue. (I know having green skin isn't natural, but you get my drift...)

I agree completely Joshua. The brown countour color works REALLY well on Saycon and the overall effect is more natural and striking almost. The color itself just has a very real, multi-tonal feel and as I said, the shades of green are great and really stand out.

I dont have any photos, but I can vouch that Jenna look amazing green, especially in the second act. They touched her up during intermission and she was radiant.

Saycon also looks incredible green.

Yeah, the actresses playing Elphaba always look better in Act Two; Act Two Elphaba is "Glam Elphaba," as Shoshana Bean calls her. They touch-up the makeup during intermission and make her look a bit more glamorous and lady-like, rather than the plain Jane she was in Act One.
