Beyonce legally blocks production of Wicked movie

If Beyonce ever saw Wicked she probably wishes her daughter could grow up to play Elphaba and I would bet that she might even get lawyers to injunct production until Ivy Blue is old enough. Your thoughts?

She's following Barbra's lead in ignoring the real age of a character. Beyonce will play Elphaba and she will get Renee Zellwegger to play G(a)linda.

Beyonce has requested that she sing the song "Popular" and so Winnie Holzman will have to write a sequence where Elphaba is travelling to school and contemplating how popular she will be.

And of course, Beyonce will want to write and perform a showstopper that will be nominated for an Oscar and it must compliment "Listen" so that in concerts she can perform the two songs as one medley.

This is film, so Beyonce is going to play all the witches. It's going to be all metaphoricalixticksy cuz she so deep and all. She's going to win at least three Oscars for this. Maybe more.

With Beyonce, I think Galinda and Elphaba will both be considered leads. And if she plays Nessa and Madame Morrible as well, she could easily tie in both categories! I think we can all agree Beyonce is a lock.

And an Emmy, just because.
And a Tony, because it's a muzikal.

I'm really loving the idea of Britney Spears playing Galinda though.
