Big Brother Season 15 -- cast announced today

I haven't been able to watch BB since CBS was dropped from Time Warner. It won't even work on my iPad's CBS app.

If anyone knows about a YouTube link, please PM me! I'm avoiding this thread due to spoilers.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Why can't you watch it on the CBS website?

Big Brother Season 15 -- cast announced today

If Helen didn't scream in the diary room or act like the house counselor, I think I'd like her more.

Eh. I don't think she's any louder than most of the others. It's so common every season, I'm just used to it. The microphone is positioned several feet from the chair, so I think they just don't understand how mic levels work and are thrown off by the proximity.

I think all the 'comforting' comes from her maternal instinct. Isn't she also the oldest person in the house? That would add to that as well. And I really do think she cares about the PERSON, but she keeps it in check that they are PLAYERS.

Oh, I doubt she really cares about Amanda, Spencer or Aryan as people. She is brown-nosing, plain and simple. She just lays it on WAY too thick with her "You are an amazing human being!" crap. I agree that it is sickening and it is the only thing about Helen that really bothers me. That, and targeting Judd. I really don't think she thought that one through very well. But she and Amanda seem to be the only ones truly strategizing at all from what I can tell. Well, except Jessie actually stepped up a couple of times, but she was just ineffective. Most of these idiots are just stubborn sheep waiting to be herded, sheered and ultimately slaughtered.

Putting Jessie and Spencer on the block is a total waste of an HoH unless he's planning to backdoor Helen, Aryan or Amanda.

Props to Amanda. She actually made Aryan look like the better person. That was not an easy task to achieve.

I have absolutely zero interest in seeing any previous "evil" BB players return. Survivor did the Heroes vs Villains season and it was no fun watching people you hated the first time around come back.

I never really understood all the obsessive love for Janelle. Yes, she was occasionally funny, but most of the time, I just saw her being a self-absorbed mean-girl bitch. Like the Real Housewives, I never really got the appeal of these character types.

I can't stand Andy this week. He is acting like a spineless puppet, and I don't think he deserves to make it much further in the game.

I have a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that Amanda will be winning this season.

Andy would be player of the year if he made a big move. He, just like everyone else in the house, is an idiot and doesn't see how he is being manipulated.

I'm hoping whoever doesn't get booted this week gets HOH next week and steps up to make a move and succeeds.

Interesting article I just found about the Amanda rumors:

http://www.examiner.com/article/bb15-debate-is-big-brother-rigged-amanda-zuckerman-s-favor-by-cbs

I'm hoping the end of it is true...
"The general consensus among former players and those who follow strategy based reality shows like ‘BB’ and ‘Survivor’ is that at this point Amanda has little, if any, chance of winning this show. Most pundits are putting her chances at around zero. Her in house romance, McCrae, on the other hand has a very real chance of winning.”

ucjrdude, I hope you're right!!

I hope a twist comes along too, but I'm scared it will just be that one of the jury members can come back into the house.

Whoever wins HOH next will have a lot of power and could swing the momentum of the game.

Not surprised Andy didn't make a big move. He's to scared to get blood on his hands. Being friends with everyone can only get you so far in this game. If it came down to McCrae and Andy in the final two, I think McCrae would win because he actually played the game. Granted, there is still a lot of game to play but I don't see Andy doing much other than what Amanda wants anyway. Also does he really not see that in the final 4 that Amanda and McCrae would take each other to the final 2? Andy basically would have to win every competition to get to the final 2.

I can't believe that Helen so easily fell for the fake alliance.

But I hope she or Elyssa wins HOH so they put up McCranda.

The girls' togas were pretty good, but the whole thing was pretty boring. I wonder if it will get any screen time tonight.

Does anyone who has the live feeds have any idea if the HOH comp is endurance tonight? Usually a day or two before BB sets something up in the backyard for them to practice. Just wondering if there is any need to watch the show tonight when I get home late or just wait to watch it sometime this weekend.

Helen wore Spencer's bed sheets for her toga. He stated to Mccrae, that he hadn't washed them all season. Nasty.

What might actually happen to Andy is he could be taken to the final 2, but only because people know they could beat him. But with these people it depends, they could vote personal, which would probably mean Andy would win because he is likable, or if they actually vote strategic, Andy should get 0 votes. Also I'm sure if Amanda gets in the Jury house she'll tell everyone how to vote and they will still do what she wants even though they are out of the game.

To Whomever wins HOH this week: Please have the Balls/Spine to back door Amanda.
She needs to go, like yesterday. Maybe then McCrae might start playing the game.

Big Brother Season 15 -- cast announced today

It is actually starting to look like the producers are trying to make it more likely that Amanda will win. Everyone sitting around talking about how they could never win against her because she's played such an amazing social game is such bullsh!t. Most people in the house openly despise her.

Andy annoys me more everyday. His lack of a spine makes it very hard to root for him because he is doing exactly what's expected of him. And his acting during the whole Helen/McCrae thing was horrible. He had that sh!t-eating grin on his face the moment he sat down like he already knew what was coming. Helen is very stupid to fall for that ruse.

Aaryn wins AGAIN! Damn. She really does well in these competitions. I have to admit I'm relieved it wasn't Amanda.

4 HOHs for Aaryn- she could really make a good case for winning if she makes it to the final two. She also went from being universally hated in the house and having few allies to being (seemingly) well-liked.

I'm hoping that with Aaryn on a "high" of being HOH for a 4th time she'll make some big moves. One thing is for sure, the girl has completely turned her game around from being a target to being the best in my opinion. Ideally I would love for Candice to make her way back into the house but wouldn't be surprised if it's Judd.

I originally thought America would vote in their favorite jury member, but now it sounds like there will be a competition leveling the playing field.

With no one in the house to root for it becomes harder and harder to watch. But watch to the end I will. Until they crown whatever hideous creature makes it to the end.

I'm guessing Aaryn will continue McRandas bidding and put up Helen.

I hope they don't show the wedding because it sounds cringe- worthy embarrassing.

What was happening with the Chenbot tonight? She was looking very drag queen.

That HOH competition was pretty laughable. Spencer clearly didn't understand how to play it or he would have put McCranda against each other. It also seemed pretty clear that McCrae was letting Amanda win during their round which was stupid since she obviously had no idea what was happening. Aaryn is becoming the one to watch now.

I can't say I'm thrilled that the juror thing is a competition since Judd is so bad at them but I think anyone who comes back will stir up the house.
