Big Brother Season 15 -- cast announced today

This season is changing my mind about sticking around.

At first I was mad that Elissa was cast. I couldn't stand Rachel one bit (although I do agree she deserved the win her second time around and probably is one of the best players the game has ever had). I see why she isn't saying anything, but really, at this point it is doing her more harm. And I feel bad that she's getting the treatment she is. But if she makes it to the end, there's no way she will win. This cast doesn't seem to care about the game. I doubt many of them will judge based on how the finalists played the game, but on their personal feelings. And that's a shame.

David needs to go on the mere fact that he's annoying, in it for the attention, and yea, as smart as a bag of paperclips. He honestly thinks he's got the shomance everyone will be talking about. Tough when there's nothing likable about either.

Aaryn needs to go bc she's a complete b***h, as news articles and her behavior on tonight's episode show.

McCrae has the right mindset for the game, but he cannot play it. He couldn't even look at Candice in the face the whole time she was up there. Then of course him promising not to tell and then doing it. If it's some strategy he has, I'm curious to see how it works out.

Nick seems to be the only one playing the game seriously. I'm curious to see how his play changes over the weeks.

It is disheartening that so few of them seem to be playing game (or have any interest in the game). Did they mean to sign up for the Bachelor/Bachelorette and end up here instead?
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

15 minutes!

I feel like the first 10 seasons or so were a lot better. People were IN IT for the game and acted more like human beings, not for the attention of being on national tv. They didn't create petty arguments.

It's either that or I'm growing older.

If David goes home, then I think the gameplay will be taken more seriously by everyone. It is their first week, I think they're all just enjoying each other for now (in their own groups).

Elissa should never been cast.
Elissa should have been upfront about being Rachel's sister.
Elissa doesn't deserve the underlying mean-spiritedness from the house.
Elissa now exists in the house as a tool to give the house a wakeup call. She won't go home this week, and the shockwaves will rock the house.
Elissa has a chance to use this to her advantage. Let's see how this plays out.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

With the exception of Andy, and maybe Nick, I don't like any of these people. It's hard to get into a show when you're not rooting for anybody. And watch the producers scramble to figure out a way to get Elissa back into the house if she gets evicted tonight. They definitely haven't gotten enough mileage out of that stunt.

I agree with some of the comments here. This is the first season that I really can't stand the majority of the house guests. I know it's only the first week, but come on, start playing the game already ! IT's so bad, I am rooting for Elissa.
I really can't stand Jeremy and his sexist attitude. Stop calling women the B***H word! How would he like it if someone called the women in his life that name?
And David has to go, if he plays with his hair one more time..brings new meaning to the word "DUMB".And he & Aaryn are perfect for each other, two Blonde Bimbo's. She has a very high opinion of herself and him, LOL.
I like Andy and Nick. I agree that Nick has his head in the game.
McCrae needs to shape up, he has the potential but not the smarts, so far anyway.
And reading the reports of the racism and slurs that are being said in the house by the majority, makes my stomach turn.
I know the Producers will try to keep Elyssa in the house, someway, just for the Drama.
I will keep watching, but my heart just isn't in it this time.

CBS RESPONDS TO the CONTROVERSY:

While none of the slurs were shown on the CBS broadcast, "Big Brother" viewers expressed outrage. Now CBS execs have finally responded to the incident in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter: "Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 -- and seeing every moment of their lives. At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on Big Brother, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program."

UPDATE from YAHOO.com--
Aaryn Gries has been Fired from her Modeling Agency because of the Racist and homophobic comments she made during the Live feed.

I guess there is some form of Justice.

Well, good for them indeed! I think its funny that the world knows but she doesn't!

Gina Marie was also fired today from her "pageant consultant" consultant job. Her firing came with words thanking BB for letting them see her for who she truly is!

Aaryn is SO dumb. She called OTHER people two-faced? She is the one with two faces, and it's difficult to choose which one is more ugly.

Very glad that David is gone. He seemed like he didn't care, anyway. BYE.

Get Aaryn out next, please.

And regarding Jeremy, poor Helen said it best: "I'm more upset because I would never have raised children to behave that way."

Get Jeremy out thirdly, please.

And LOVE that MacRae has a showmance going on. Go underdogs!

Jeremy needs to go. What was all that MAN bull****? Why did the girls need him to lie for them? Just nasty, nasty, entitle people.

Darn it! This week's HOH really throws a wrench in the game!

***SPOILERS***

There was major cheating going on. I wonder if CBS will take the win away.

I tried to watch this dreck last night for about 20 minutes and had to turn the station. (I usually watch BB). I agree with CapnHook about Aaryn. What a hypocrite. She was complaining about the others talking about people behind their backs, while she was doing the same thing. And that Jeremy is such a douche. He's a bully, who thinks he's alot hotter and tougher than he really is. BTW, his tattoos are really ugly. (And I usually like tattoos) There are so many unappealing people on this season, that I'm not interested in watching. Also it was funny, during the live eviction, people were either clapping or hissing. Then they went to commercial break, and you heard nothing. They must have told the live audience to pipe down.

I particularly found it amusing that they cut the audio from the house "so you could hear a pin drop"...even though you very clearly saw GinaMarie talking to the southern guy (who's name totally escapes me....the one that's hard to understand).

They didn't cut the audio intentionally, I don't think. Even Julie Chen's mic dropped out.

Elissa was not present during the entire episode. Strange. There was lots of talk of wanting her out of the house from multiple parties. I have a feeling it may be all talk again, and the Moving Company will try t o save her again. They talked about how the studio audience sheered for her and booed for David, so they know America likes her and disliked David.

Nick is definitely playing this game the best. I want him to win so far.

That's true, it was annoying.

I would think they'd try to get rid of her MORE thinking the audience loves her....she could easily keep getting MVP from them.

I hate who you say won in the above spoiler. I think she is my least favorite person in the house.

I just read the thread and didn't see whatever it is that you're referring to. Nick from BB relates to Sailer Moon how?

Sorry for the the confusion. I should have just posted the video instead. He is in the part where there was a Sailor Moon fan video. He plays Tuxedo Mask. I would know that face anywhere.
