Who knew?
"Ghosts of Download", it's called.
It was released a couple of months ago, but I only just found out and I would consider myself a big fan.
It's not awful.
Blondie feat. Beth Ditto, "A Rose by Any Name"
New album, "Pollinator", due in May.
Listen to buzz single "Fun", now.
I like it! Any objective opinions to offer?

They are also heading out on tour this summer, playing with the band Garbage...Can't wait to see them at the Beacon on August 1st.
They're also the opening act for Phil Collins in Europe this summer. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. ![]()
Well "Pollinator"' is out, and the reviews have been favorable. It definitely deserves to do better than their last two records, which slipped by almost completely unnoticed. Featuring collaborations with Sia, Joan Jett, Laurie Anderson, Charli XCX, Johnny Marr, the Gregory Brothers & more - I wouldn't call it a return to form as such, but it is definitely the best thing they've put out in a long time.
My favorite, and reviewers seem to agree, is "Long Time" - co-written by Debbie with Blood Orange (Dev Hynes) - reminiscent of their glory days, I just love it. Listen!
They put on a boring concert the last few times I saw them.
I agree with Dame. Blondie has devolved into such an "oldies" act. I was a huge fan. They release new albums and I bought them to never play the material. I gave up. They will attach themselves to any tour (Melissa Etheridge. Phil Collins, Garbage, Joan Jett) and they do a medley of the old hits. I've given up seeing them live. Its the same show over and over. Harry looks great and sounds great but the shows are dull. She's gotten to used to playing the free promo concerts where they are expected just to pump out the hits, they aren't doing shows for the fans.
