They will still do a preview run. Almost all shows do an out-of-town try-out before moving to NYC. Aida did it in Atlanta and Chicago before moving to Broadway. It still had previews.
Previews start September 23. I also got my Cd. Sounds good.

YEAH! They were deleted!!!!!!!!
I just got the nicest message from Jose (our secret moderator) saying that my postings were unnecessary and only they were deleted. WHERE ARE THE REAL MODERATORS????
Nice work, Jose. NOT.
That doesn't seem right. Oh well, nice result anyway, we'll just treat you as a hero for getting them deleted.
Haha, thank God they were deleted!

Your postings were unecessay? Did Jose' fall for the double _ and decide you've turned schizophrenic? Updated On: 9/11/04 at 10:23 PM
The whole threads were deleted. I admit I wasn't very nice in the message I sent back to him, but at least they're gone now.
Oh yeah, Plum might have a point. Maybe he didn't read the enitre post of us all yelling? I can't think of anything else.
Matt C, I was worried for you when you said you didn't know what a dresser was. Now, are you positive you know the difference between on and off Broadway?

I just want to mention a little experiment I just did regarding Brooklyn (and I didn't want to start yet ANOTHER thread about the show). I was curious as to how well this show is ACTUALLY selling so I just went to telecharge.com and did searches for ten tickets (the max you can do online) for every Saturday night performance in September, October, November and December, and guess what? There were 10 ORCHESTRA seats together available for every one of those performances, except for one show in October which only had 10 for the front mezz. In other words, whole ROWS of unsold orchestra seats are available for Saturday nights (center orchestra in most cases) and, presumably for the rest of the week for this show that our shills are telling us is such a "hot ticket."
Whoever's behind this shill invasion must be desperate. They have a show with an unknown creative team and an unknown (outside theatre circles) cast and they clearly have no advance sale and they're beginning to panic. I suppose they figured they could come here to Broadway World with its large contingent of young theatre fans and start a little good word-of-mouth, but this is clearly beginning to backfire on them as they continually raise the ire of the board with each counterfeit post their shills create.
I, for one, am holding off buying tickets for the show until the early word starts coming in during previews from people I know on this board and some others, whose opinions I respect -- and I know I'm not the only one. If it turns out to be something worth-seeing, then I'll certainly pick up a ticket, but right now, all of this fake praise for a show that only a handful of people in Denver have ever seen has really turned me off to it. So all you Matt Cs and Matt____Gs can save your energy (and this site's bandwidth) and go spread your lies somewhere else. Your actions are hurting this show -- which for all we know might turn out to be something special.
Standing Ovation for Margo
That was really resourceful...wow. I'm impressed!
You are amazing, Margo and I constantly applaud you (gosh are my palms hurting right about now!)...Thanks for blasting away at their childish pranks and bringing in the voice of reason, as usual!
