I must say - it's quite nice driving to work in daylight. I know it will gradually change back to darkness, but I appreciate it while it lasts!

I felt like that yesterday, even though the temp wasn't up to its usual, the place had power.

I'm sorry, BD...if my spare room hadn't become storage, and the bed wasn't broken, you know you and the zoo would be welcome. I do have a couch and floor space!!

My sicky husband has been coughing all night long - and he's on codiene! No one in my house has gotten much sleep lately. I'd love to "accidently" oversleep.

i haven't been able to sleep for over a week. I need absolute silence to sleep (perk of being single) but the hum on my mom's O2 machines and the murmur of the TV kept me up most nights. So last night I was so exhausted I figured I'd pass right out - nope tossing and turning all night. And I even took melatonin my cousin gave me.

Morning! I stayed up way too late and overslept by 20 minutes today. Luckily, traffic was very light and made up some time. Crazy coiple of days here as we head into Homecoming on Friday and Saturday. I will need more than an hour's extra sleep by Sunday!

Okay, one set of f*cktards shot down, now off to school to prepare with my colleagues the upcoming battle there. Those GD people have been beyond awful lately, infiltrating our presentations to students and then going behind our backs to tear our program down.

Yes, our new, school and state approved curriculum, as opposed to their new curriculum, which, uhm, oh yeah: does not even exist yet.

As I said in a Facebook post earlier "to quote a Sondheim lyric in a completely different context: '...but the work waits, I'm alive at last, and I'm full of joy!'"

We've had our servers and stuff still hooked up to the massive generator we rented until after this upcoming storm. It just putzed out again this morning. They figured it out, but we are still without phones. And the storm hasn't even hit yet. My office is really "the little office that could".
