No brd. The only thing that happened was the washing machine went into spin mode right before the generator went on. The electrician said that had nothing to do with it...just a default.

I was just catching up on the (HORRORS) Main board, the Sound of Music thread, and laughing once again, about all the Carrie naysayers backpedaling now.
Can't WAIT to see this!

Interesting to see Carrie tomorrow night - I really don't have a preconceived notion - other than that those are large shoes to fill, even if doing a slightly different version. But, I think she has a strong voice, and a grace and simplicity about how she carries her self that may work.
On a side note, had our work party last night at the Grammy Museum. Being the instigator, and knowing my boss's wife wanted his Movember hair gone - I started a fundraiser to have his goatee sheared off at the party. He was game, got it off (he had no clippers, and was not sure quite how to do it), we raised a few more hundred dollars, and I was actually entertained for a few minutes at a work function. I consider that a win all the way around.

I hope the President of the Division feels that way. They all seemed to enjoy the side show. A few of them grew facial hair for Movember, and were waiting until after the employee meeting to shave it off. I figure since they are all about innovation these days - it was an innovative way to multi-task.
Happy Hump Day.
I prefer my men bearded all year long. :)
zzzzzzzzzzz night 3 of insomnia. I gave into Sleepytime tea around 11. Moved on to straight up vodka around 1:30 and but 3:30 may or may not have had a long philosophical conversation with a cat.
YOU perhaps his wife disliked it for different reasons...just sayin'
On the phone with Citibank in Singapore. I want to kill myself! How many times do I need to explain that I DO NOT have a Singapore Mobile any more? No I did not receive the PIN via my mobile because I don't have it any longer! She keeps telling me "but we sent it to your mobile number." She keeps repeating my Singapore mobile number UGH!!!!
Gotta love customer service... not.
YOU, what a great idea! Cool venue for a party.
I'm looking forward to SOM tomorrow night. I wish I'd organized having people over - would be fun to watch with friends.
Just found out I have a few more 'estate' related papers to file, so trying to figure out when I can get a day (or even half day) off to run around picking up documents, getting documents notarized, mailing documents... It just never ends. I am going to have one huge glass of champagne when we reach year end, and all of the filings are complete!
Just had a delicious scone. Worth every calorie.

Y - love that! Good work!
MT - best night of sleep last night bed at 10:30 - woke up it was 3:33 fell back to sleep and then up for the day at 5:45 - one interruption only!!!
I am not a Carrie fan, but LOVE SOM. I was Captain Von Trapp and even as a tenor at that time of my life was OK. I was better the second time as I was married with a baby.
Happy Humping Day!

I did SOM when I was 18 years old. Yes I played Rolf. I found it odd that people thought I didn't look German with my dark hair. I thought my Jersey accent was more of a dead give away that I wasn't German. Especially when I said my last line which was "No one out here, Sir" which came out as "No one out here,Sa" My poor friend Elaine, who played the Baroness, sat patiently many nights after rehearsal in a diner trying her best to teach me. She say "Sir" and I say "Sa" and she say "Sir" and I say "That's what I said, Sa!" Good times!

Mooney - NO! C18 took some theater classes. C20 and C15 sing like birds, but never in public. Mrs. Brd is the real actress!
Y - Where was the bungee cord? My guess is the in CA - yes that is an accident under the CA WC Act.
Boobs - Hilarious! 20 years later my friends do an impression of me turning as the Captain sings for the first time in the show; "I go to the hills.....when my heart is lonely."
brd, it was one of my favorite roles. I remember being so upset when the audience "boo'd" me. I was reminded by the Baroness it was because I was so convincing for being mean to Liesel. I still didn't like it!
