Addy, that is a nice list. Mooney, yes OTA is missed.
I really miss Cookie and KMF.
Long, busy day here with NOTHING real accomplished. I am irritated that I must go to the burbs tomorrow and Wednesday! Argh!
I have no trips planned which is fine for this stage of my life. Tuition is worth the investment! I could not be more impressed, pleased and thrilled with C15's high school!
Just got done with a succession of meetings.
Tomorrow, Wed and Thursday will be ugly. I am so looking forward to Friday.
And DG, that story made me smile, and I totally have images of you whirling around Disneyland with Bert.

Y, I am swamped all week, but am OFF next week for my first full week of the year! I have to travel Tue, Wed, Thu this week and on Friday we have a holiday lunch.
Yes! OTA! I added him to the list... I do miss him so much. It was such a joy to meet him. Such a long time ago...
And, brd, I miss them, too. Alot.
I loved that beautiful moon on Friday. It lit up the sky.
DD, it would be WONDERFUL to see you in March! Alas, my plans to head west for skiing in January are not going to happen. Too much going on at work. Maybe next year...
I'm heading home. Starting to feel achy and chilled. Which is just not allowed. I need every minute of this week to be in top form, as there is SO much to do to wrap up the end of the year.

It is STILL raining here - at least 12 hours in a row! I know that might not seem unusual to normal people, but here in SoCal it's like the apocolypse!
I really hope the burn areas remain in one place - mudslides are the usual next step under these circumstances, and it can get REALLY ugly. A couple of years ago, the entire side of a mountain gave way and completely buried a community
All I know is, we're not leaving our house! These idiots have to be guarded against on a clear day. In this situation, it's like a demolition derby out there!
Speaking of burns...
I was volunteering with some kids from my temple at a shelter where we were making dinner.
They didn't have any pot holders, so I used a towel. At the sink, the towel slipped, the pot fell into the sink, and the boiling water hit my face. Part of my face is burned, but because I immediately put cold water on it, it's not too bad. It hurts, but I'll survive.
I've also decided to donate pot holders to the shelter. I think they need them.

Shira - this is why you should have a cook.
And a driver, gardener, maids, etc.
If you have any aloe, slather that on.
But don't get it in your eyes!
And PLEASE be careful!!!
Well, I'm glad we agree on those things, Q! I think I'd like them very much.
I have aloe, and I'm taking care of it!
I'm watching "Deconstructing Harry", now.
Just stopping by while I make a cup of tea and tuck back into bed...
Morvning poddie lah!!!

So the Christmas shopping rule is for every 1 present you buy for someone, you buy yourself at least two, right?

At least Girly.
That seems to be what I'm averaging. But yet when people ask me for ideas, I can't think of anything to tell them. Go figure! In my defense though, a few of the things I've bought myself I was very picky with the particulars of the item. There's a shock!
