DGG, I actually had a similar surgery a few years ago. I blocked out most of it. And I had stitches when I got an impacted widsom tooth out. I'm not sure which must be worse. A couple stitches all in one spot or one between each tooth. I think yours would be.

Heard this on the radio yesterday and forgot to look it up when I got to work. :::sigh:::
"A still-employed, millionaire banker got even luckier this weekend, when he found out he won the New York lottery's first $1 million a year scratch-off game. Even better, for him, he lives in Britain so he'll only have to pay the state tax, not the federal tax, on his winnings.
What was this guy even doing buying a lottery ticket to begin with?
NY Post: Keenan Altunis, 33, a banker raised on Long Island and now living in London, accepted his prize with a smug shrug, noting he's already a multimillionaire.
"Is it going to materially change my life? No," he told The Post. "I have been a very blessed and fortunate person."
And if that isn't an argument for spreading the wealth around, how about this: Since he lives in Britain, Altunis, an executive at the European banking firm Unicredit, will have to pay New York but not federal taxes on his winnings, which means he'll net $931,500 a year for the rest of his life...
On a trip home to New York last month for a wedding, he gave his mother $100 to buy him tickets for the newly advertised game before heading to the airport. His mother tossed in another $20 and bought four.
So he contributed $100 to New York state's revenue only to take $1 million out every year. Great."

Speaking of multimillionaire's ... the Gaz is back from his two week China/Korea trip and will be arriving here this afternoon.

I hope he bought you a small nation or something.
I'll just be happy to see him.
Who am I and what have I done with myself?
Mornin' All!
Harris, I will eventually get to DC and I'll be expecting you to give me a tour. How are you handling the weather, so far?
Sunshine, you might rock the braces. Look how well you wear the brunette. We didn't see that one coming either.
Wow, has Somms found a keeper!?!
awww, thanks for the support, shameys.
Yeah, SOMMS, you're starting to scare me! But not all in a bad way!
Morning all.

I don't know yet, Moony. I have some work to be done in the beginning of December and once that is done then we will make the decision of braces. I am have heard pros and cons of both Invisalign and regular braces, so I'll just wait and see.
And I seriously doubt I will be ditching anyone. I'm just trying to compare with the exquisite beauty already in our group of peeps.
Plus, just imagine the fun you peeps will have meeting and judging any possible future suitors of mine. Chris was already a permanent fixture when I met you, so the fun was lost on that one.
The head honcho is away today...
Too bad I got a stack of papers sitting here on the desk. I'd love to take the afternoon off and play hooky.

Gosh, Tink, you act like we're judgmental by nature or something.
:-P
My boss just left for the Boat Show.
Some of you met Dan, then Steve, then Mike and then the other Steve. I think I'll keep the Gaz under wraps for a while longer.

My boss has been annoying the crap out of me this week. It's a good thing I don't hit women.

My boss is also a former actor and director, so he's a bit high maintenance. But cute.

You'd think so, cuz, but he's been married for 13 years - to a costume designer.
We're both attending a wedding this Saturday and he's fussing more about the dress I'm wearing than I am, so.....

Yeah, I've never had a boss who wanted to accessorize me before.
My boss has been known to pull out three shades of lipstick before a presentation and ask me which one goes best with her suit. And, I tie a mean scarf.
SOMMS, where are you in the morning when I'm getting dressed? I was freaking out over a dress all yesteday!
