Posted: 4/21/09 at 12:43pmQ, when my friend lived in AZ, we went to a Jackson Browne concert which was outdoors. Being August in AZ, I think she said it was monsoon season. Sure enough, during the encore a storm swept in, they shut everything down and we headed out. Needless to say, the wipers were all rotted out and we couldn't see 3 feet in front of us. We risked it for a little bit, and came upon a movie theatre showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show. We had no clue what that was, but figured we go and kill some time while the storm raged on. I wish we had a picture of our faces when we got inside the theater!

Hell, I'd seen it advertised in the paper playing at a theater in New Brunswick, but never paid much attention. Plus, back then New Brunsick wasn't a place you hung out at at night. And I didn't drive when it first came out!

I didn't drive when it first came out, although I knew about it. But I didn't see it until I was 21. I didn't then either.
And haven't seen it since. And I still don't drive.

A theater around the corner from Boob's house was showing it on Friday nights at midnight and we kept saying we were going to go, but never got there. Then he took off for Singapore. I don't know if they still show it.

I love Rocky Horror and seeing it in a theater with a bunch of nuts was a blast.

I used to go religiously after working the evening shift with friends.
You should have seen the bag or crap we would bring with us.
Lighters, toast, ketchup (in a packet), cards, newspapers, crayons, squirt guns...
