No worries, Girly - it sold out a couple of weeks ago anyway. You can see her at Feinstein's May 5 - 12 for about twice the price, though.
Gee, thanks. WHEN I win the Mega Millions tomorrow night, I'll keep that in mind. And for Chey's shows, too. $150 ticket and cover. Sorry Chey. Love ya, but...

You're welcome, sweetie.
As for Chey, well, I don't ever want to be in a room where he could actually see me.
Didn't you say you had a friend that knew him and was going to introduce you to him? One of these days...

The new wing of the Art Institute here will be very nice!
$150 - that is pricey for a caberet show! Is is a fund raiser?
Nope. He's doing a few shows in June at Feinstein's, with Michael Feinstein. I don't think the place is all that to begin with. I'd much rather go to Birdland or the Metropolitan Room. Tickets are $109.46 and $40 Food/drink. Luckily his show back in March was cheaper

Hey, DGG - I've been thinking about you. Did you see the pictures of Saturn taken by Cassini? They were spectacular!

I haven't! I'll have to look into that. I'm pretty busy with the end of the year. Not an excuse, I know. Hope you've been well, darling!

Hi, Bert! (oh, you don't read back either, do you?)
12 for me *sigh* and that is only because I didn't grow up here so it could be more if I knew what it was talking about. (PF flyers? Butch wax?)
btw - Q, tell the tinman "Caprica" is excellent. We saw it this weekend. He'll know what I'm talking about.

21, but some of them are because I grew up in the sticks. 25. Wash tub wringers - I knew people on farms that used these. Same with party lines.
I have been useless today! I did approve the end of the month firm bills which made me cranky! Our insurance costs are only exceeded by rent and salaries.
