I think that one stuck with me, only because you had mentioned her and Coyote Ugly and I told about going to watch them filming scenes in the town next to me, in the pre-hurricane Floyd rain/wind.

No, Brd. There are still four large fires burning. However, for the first time in weeks, we have had some rain. Some reasonable falls that will hopefully help dampen down the remaining blazes. Two days ago we had gale force winds across the state. Alerts were sent out. I don't know how far the fires ran during that day. I don't think further damage was incurred, just blackened forests.

Yes, just not at the moment. I am not awake as yet. I spent yesterday doing a bit of a Spring clean... in late Summer. Dust bunnies everywhere. I couldn't possibly write after a moment like that.

I am not very amicable. No, I am not that political. I think one organization did write an amicus for one of my appeals. I do have two briefs due at the end of the month, and I am likely headed to the Appellate Court soon for the first time in many years.
