I honestly can't remember about gun shots. I think there are during Judy's fantasy sequence, but I wouldn't swear to it at all.

Why, yes Shira, I would be happy to consider an invitation. We've got out-of-town guests, I'm about to head out-of-town for a bit myself, we have tickets to a few events, and we're really trying to get a lot of stuff done for the TinMan's acting and around the house --- but how could I possibly ignore such a delightful entreaty for my time and energy?
*ahem*
Welcome back to the wrong coast
How do you guys have so many guests? I'll never understand. No one ever visits me! And I even wear deodorant.
*mwah*
When you get a breather, PM me please. I miss you.
I can't remember about the gun shots, either. The gun might go off when they're in the office? Not sure. Where's Deet? He's seen it more recently.

Then it is like the movie.
Yes. There are gunshots. LOUD gunshots. Scared the crap out of me.
Unfortunately, the bullets missed the block of wood center stage.
Deet! Not nice. At. All.

I love good food.
And a doctor who says "You can have a glass of wine, just don't tell your doctor". Oh, love my surgeon.
If I don't talk to y'all tomorrow, see ya on the other side!
Wooooooooo hoooooooo on my waaaaaaaaaaaaay
Oh Girly, everyone knows she's shooting blanks.
Mornin'
Mornin' Kids!
I'm actually surprised. SJB is my second favorite Elphaba. And the fact that I would even acknowledge a second Elphaba says a lot.
you elphie snob!
Morning!
Headache is somewhat controlable this morning, yay!
That's rich coming from a Roger snob!
I've always said I would have loved to been able to see Norbie's Roger interprtation live! :P
And the day officially begins!
Well, out of curiosity, I wouldn't mind seeing Sherie play Maureen, but that doesn't change the fact that there is ONLY ONE Maureen!
What are we drinking?

Morning.
Dinner tonight at our favorite restaurant with our best friends, and the rest of the evening at the Happiest Place on Earth. That covers most of my bases. And it's a little necessary right now, as I'm trying to nurse the TinMan through a disappointment he got yesterday on his career path.
*sigh* Loving someone means sharing their pain
As for Ms. Block, I thought she was effective enough as Liza in THE BOY FROM OZ - and it probably says it all that I even noticed anyone else was onstage with Huge . . . uh, I mean Hugh
She does have a glorious voice, I'll give her that - there's a lot more there than the requisite screech belt that passes for a vocalizing these days.
And I'll take you at your word, Q, about her performance as Liza. There must have been something there to distract you.

Well? And?
You haven't given me anything to get violent about yet.
true - I am a roger snob and proud I'll admit it.
ahhh, Hugh.

Despite whatever limitations the piece itself might have had, Hugh in OZ gave me some of the most thrilling moments I've ever had in a theater - and they weren't even all when he was stripping down to a dance belt onstage. Although, each and every one of those moments is etched in my memory forever
Honestly, it was only the second time in my life I've participated in a well-deserved standing ovation during a performance (the first being DREAMGIRLS.)
