Not at all, I just grew up in printing, so it's random trivia.
I grew up with politics - my dad was a Republican and my mom a Democrat, when I was in grade school, we had both a Nixon and a McGovern sign on our lawn. My dad was in the local city council (and was Mayor a few times) of the town I currently live in.
And, being the lab rat for special ed teaching methodologies (since my mom was a special ed teacher) and wondering what the hell my dad did as a nuclear physicist.
Interesting childhood - but no printing trivia.
I accidentally educated a woman at TJ's today, because they had "wheat bagels" but no "whole wheat bagels". I explained the difference (she asked, I didn't just start a lecture, promise!)
If you want good bagles, there is a bagel store that makes them fresh everyday at National and Sepulveda. They also have great soups. Is is mall anchored by Vons. I am not sure if they are whole wheat either, but when I used to eat bagels, they were good!
TJ's does have those sprouted grain bagels. I used to eat those with their tofu cream cheese.
I like the mini ones. Mmm, bagels.
Alright, time to set the table and get dinner started. The dinner guests tonight, aside from my father and I, are:
1) A date for my father.
2) A woman who lives with us who my father would like to marry but she doesn't like him that way. However, she lives in our house anyway when she's renting her condo out in Santa Monica. My father instructed that tonight she will be a "cousin" so his date doesn't think it's awkward.
*screams*
Okay, better.
Shira, you have a sitcom there. I think you should start writing, and not finish until you have the pilot set.
My life is a sitcom, I know!
You have to save that message for girly, shira.
Didn't get to the ROA dress rehearsal tonight, unfortunately, but I did have a good time at the party. Maybe too good a time.

We had a very nice dinner with our clients and spouses.
D2, did you take a deep breath tonight?
Several.
Deep breaths.
And big gulps.
I cannot make this up.
My father's date tonight is a medium and speaks through the dead.

Shira, she has her own TV show!
D2, good idea!
Tell her to say hi to my Dad for me.
Seriously? I mean, seriously.
YWIW - She actually HAD a TV show on public access, apparently. She has a few people she channels.
*takes deep breath*
Sitcom. You will be set for life.
My sister had Wiccan members at her wedding. That is as about as off-beat as my family gets. Though, I have had friends who have gone to psychics and found them to be very illuminating.
Who does she channel? Anyone worth hearing about? Or, is it someone's Aunt Marge that just complains that that the weather in LA is too dry and she needs to get back to Florida (as my Aunt Maddie used to complain).
I don't know who she channels, just random people, I suppose. But she'll channel YOUR people, if you like. Ya know, for a fee.

I think she was on NBC tonight!
Nah, I have enough problem with guilt from living relatives - I am not sure I could handle it from dead ones.

Ditto.
