Can any of you say "I knew him when"??

In regards to the "famous" people now, can any of you say that you went to high school with somebody that's now Mr Big Shot?

I have the gut feeling I'm going to say it in a matter of years...

Not to brag, but I can't wait. I'm not one for patience though.

I took driver's ed in high school with Leonardo DiCaprio back in the days before he got Growing Pains. There are a few more but I'll refrain.

If she gets her act together my best friend (the one in my icon) will be a huge star one day!

I went to high school with two future Grammy Award winners: Kim Thayil, lead guitarist of "Soundgarden". and opera star Dawn Upshaw.

Sally Murphy (currently playing Tzeitel in FIDDLER on Broadway)took acting classes at our theatre when she was 16 and did our summer productons while she was in college.

Jennifer Lien, who played "Kes" on STAR TREK: VOYAGER and Edward Norton's sister in AMERICAN HISTORY X took classes here as a kid and a couple of professional productions as a teen.

Michael Shannon, who starred Off-Broadway in the hit BUG (and is now doing the movie), played Kim Basinger's boyfriend in EIGHT MILE, and was "Goose" the mechanic in PEARL HARBOR, made his professional acting debut at our theatre as the lead in WINTERSET. He claimed he was 19 at the time. We later found out from his parents that he was 16. Smart move - we never would have trusted such a huge role to him if we knew he was only 16.

Not that she's any big star, but I grew up with Kathy Lee Gifford. She was known as Kathy Epstein then.

Neil Cavuto (Fox Network...has his own show...) was a college classmate. We were both journalism majors and had mutual friends. (I think he actually double majored with political science.)

His internship was a summer at the White House Press Office under Jody Powell (Carter's Press Secretary. Mine was doing PR work for an organization and posting things in local newspapers.

A foreshadowing of the directions our "careers" would take...

This wasnt me, but i have two friends that were in The Wizard of Oz with Frankie Muniz at my theater school, and I have another friend who was in A Christmas Carol with him (he was tiny tim) . Hes from my town. And clay aiken is one of my bff's cousins.

I knew Jesse McCartney when he was a freshman in my high school. He was fvcking a senior cheerleading slut. Will never forget it...although I never thought he was cute.

I used to know myself when I was younger. Then we lost touch for awhile. Now, I've become such a big personality that if I ran into myself, I think I'd be too shy to say anything. Really, what would somebody as big as I am have to say to me anyway?

I went to elementary school, middle school, and part of HS (until he dropped out and got his GED) with Aires Spears from Mad TV.
