Now he needs a theme song! Maybe the William Tell Overture? or the Theme from the Munsters?
Hi Yall!
I hope everyone is okay today!
DG - Sorry to hear about your hotel situation. I hope Boob's air mattress will help.

I have to say that just reading the term 'Super Boobs' has put me in a better mood!
When all else fails, Sominex for 'the other' may do the trick - and a couple more Lagavulins couldn't possibly hurt me
DG, when's the last time this many people had so much interested in your sleeping arrangements??? Hope you can get something worked out. You ARE in the city that never sleeps, you know...Must be they take that very seriously!!

Pip - the last time that many people were involved, we were all in the same bed.

Can you imagine living during Prohibition?
No.
DG - except for hotel, sounds like you are having a blast, Lestat notwithstanding.
And, for some reason, when I hear "Super Boobs" the theme from Mighty Mouse runs through my head with "here I come, to save the day . . . "

Wow YWiW... that's what I had in my head... Mighty Boobs didn't have the same ring as Super Boobs, though.

For every problem, there IS a solution!
The Hotel Edison - which has always been my favorite here anyway - has a suite available for Wednesday through Saturday. Sominex and scotch will get us through tonight - and THEN we can be in a 'real' situation to enjoy the rest of our stay. YAY!!!!
And YWIW - so far the shows have been wonderful - LESTAT being the exception that proves the rule. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the slate - especially now that we might actually be RESTED UP for them!
Excellent DG!!! One more night... one more night...

DG - I am glad you got another place to stay. Sounds like you will be able to finish your trip on an elegant note! I read your comments on Lestat and all I can think if is maybe it is so bad you can at least say you saw it!
DD - I loved Mighty Mouse as a kid. I hope you are staying dry up there, it is pouring here in LA.

That's horrible about the sleep situation DG. However - I hear that Anne Rice has been inspired to work a new installment to the Vampire chronicles based on the musical - it will be called "Decay of the Vampire".

OMG - you should read Anne's bio in the PLAYBILL - I may have to transcribe it here. It's unbelieveable!
And truthfully, the entire time I just kept thinking, "At least I got to see the Palace." But then I got depressed thinking of what they were doing to the stage that Judy was on!
It's sunny and gorgeous up here, YWiW...

Ah the Palace. La Cage 22 years ago! Beautiful theater. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about Color Purple. I can't wait for that one myself.

Cheeze - I was looking at pictures today of the big gospel numbers - I'm ITCHING, I tell you, ITCHING!
DG - I also cannot wait to hear what you think about The Color Purple.
DD - I am home today with the kitties. Rainy days are good days to stay home!

I hear you - the use of the church ladies is absolutely brilliant in my opinion. Kind of a gospel greek chorus! It will be interesting to see how different it is now compared to the Atlanta production. Have a wonderful time!
he... I'm thinking of playing hooky tomorrow.

I kinda just woke up. I am home with the flu - and now I am all wound up with this crazy energy. Crazy energy and the chills - not a happy combination. It's really raining here too - not supposed to let up until after Easter.
DD - I had a weird reaction to some medication, so I decided to stay home rather than get behind the wheel and drive. That could have been interesting!
Thank goodness for the kitties to amuse me.
It is kind of nice feeling drunk without having to worry about the calories (j/k).

YWIW - Absolutely! I love to share - and the feeling drunk analogy is really kicking in here. Thera - Flu is the cheapest high I have ever experienced. Oy!
That's a long day, Ms. Undi.
Well... you'll be on vacation soon.
