YWIW, we found the defendant guilty.

I am confident that it was the correct verdict. We deliberated carefully, but it was VERY, VERY difficult.

There was a bit of drama in the courtroom when the verdict was announced, so that was especially hard.

After we were back in the jury room we learned that he had a long record. Which was news that the people who were initially undecided were glad to hear. Not that the record had anything to do with the conviction, but...

Anyway, it was a very draining process. But, I believe justice was served.

Nope. I ended up just cooking some stuff I had at home. already had.

But, I am thinking about doing it this weekend. It was a long day, and I just wanted to go home and go "ahhhhhhh."

Well Addy, thanks for doing a thoughtful job. Like brd and I have both said, the system does not work if bright people do not support and sustain it.
