I'll be happy in a room with no windows if Colin Firth is there!
But, a Tuscan villa is a nice option, too.
Now I want HIM at my doorstep. With THAT sign.

I LOVE that movie! And she is so perfect with him. Not as perfect as any one of us would be, mind you - but she's perfect in the film
*sigh*
That's one of my favorite scenes, DD.
And, that movie is really something special! I can watch it over and over again!

Let's face it - the movie is a virtual BUFFET!
Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around.
Aw...
Ok addy, you may have him...
*looks longingly at his front door*
I love love love that opening.

Addy - I mentioned that in the 'favorite movie openings' thread
That's ok, DD... I'm busy at the moment.
I love it when everyone around here simutaneously sidesteps into their own fantasy world...and then shares!
Still busy...
Hey, Pip... it's our little fantasy world here, isn't it.
DD and DG, that is one of the best movie openings EVER!

Addy - that is my favorite "Clark Kent" moment - first the glasses come off, then the shirt...gave me a new perspective on nerdy looking tech guys.
Hi, Addy. It is that! That's part of what makes it so special!
I just hold my breath during that scene. Each time I kinda hope the phone won't ring.
But it always does.
And her devotion to her brother is her beauty!
