I hope they re-mix the sound a bit... the voices and the orchestra aren't quite in balance.

Addy - is there any kind of 'break' in the broadcast at intermission when I could switch the tape out in the recorder? I'd rather record it on normal speed, which only gives 2 hours, but I don't want to miss anything!

There is.

The beginning of the intermission is a behind-the-scenes, but then they break to sponsor announcements, so you'll have time to switch the tape!

DG, what time is it on by you? They make 8 hour tapes, 160 instead of 120. It will easily fit on that recording at the normal speed.

Girly - thanks for the suggestion. I still have about an hour-and-a-half, but I've just decided to sit in the hot tub and enjoy my cocktail watching the sunset on my mountain. Piazzas aren't the only places where light puts on a show

Just wanted to let you know - I just looked out my windows and just about every TV I can see in all the apartment windows in buildings around mine are tuned to Piazza. And there are a few viewing parties going on. I'm just smiling...
