*rolls down*
Well, at least I wasn't spilling Veuve!
*Boobsie squash*

Unfortunately, I am Moonyless, or Moonless or without Moony.
Where is she???
Am I your wife's keeper now?
I need her.
Dammit.
Well, I haven't seen her.
At least, that's what I promised her I'd tell you, if you asked.
Addy!!!
goes back to napping... except Addy-less...
*goes back to work* *sigh*
Betta watch: still alive, though he's hanging out at the top and hasn't eaten since last Friday.
*Snuggles with Cookie and nibbles*
Rath...I'll let Moonie know you're looking for her when she wakes up..she looks so comfy in my bed that I didn't have the heart to wake her up.
You a bad boy!
I thought it was going to be so slow here today. Boy, was I ever wrong! It's not manic busy, but busier than expected. Actually kinda glad about that. Keep me outta trouble. Somewhat.

Did I miss a memo? Is it the arrival of summer? Why is the board so quiet?
The calm before the major meltdown?

Oh Girly is now playing innocent after she sat and watched the movie with us last night.
Rath's having a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.
Rough one, Rath?
What's wrong?

No job yet, nothing even temp lined up after today (even though I'm registered with two agencies with whom I check in daily).
My rotten friends who are moving away and taking their children sent me a lecturing email today about how me and the other godmother haven't been "supportive" like their other friends. Well, duh - we're the ones who are close to the kids. We're the ones who are going to be left behind. Like I really need this when I have to go say goodbye to them this weekend.
So now I'm sitting here at a desk in a place full of strangers fighting tears, after spending my lunch hour wandering around in a sick-feeling daze.
How's that? Now I bet you wish Moony were here.
*hands Rath a valium*
Rath, I'm sorry.
Having friends move away is always so filled with emotion...
*hug*
*takes the Valium and the hug*
Thanks, guys.
Instead of good-bye say "See you soon!"
Sometimes, to me, saying 'good bye' has such finality, that it makes a huge difference to simply say 'see you soon.' That's what I tell my family when I leave.
DD, I can't even sit here and think about it without tears. I'll never be able to pull that off!
