SOMMS - the guy who plays Victor Newman was Sherrif Lamb on Veronica Mars, love him!!! And Shemar.... even my very closed minded mother has approved that it is ok if I brought him home. I actually have to go home and watch him, new episode of Criminal Minds was last night.
I watched DOOL for years (started with watching it with mom as a small kid and lasted up to a few years ago.) I remember Sami being pregnant with Will lol. Oh my many loves from that show - that's where my Jensen Ackles love first formed (Eric brady now Dean on Supernatural). Austin Peck. the late teen years Shawn D.
And then my other short lived guilty pleasure - Passions.

I blame Mom and Grandma for my love of DOOL. I stopped watching years ago, but my past vacation being I was home I got hooked again. Now I DVR it. It's funny how so many characters/actors are still there. I always LOVED Marlena (Deidre Hall). She hasn't changed in the least. I'm still figuring out who is who mother/father/sister/brother. It seems they're all related...the Horton's, DeMera's and Kiriakis' families.

It's been a few years, but I'm pretty sure Marlena and John left for a while and only recently came back. Yes, its very incestuous over there. I remember before i stopped watching they brought back Chloe and I was done. She always annoyed me. I guess with me, I grew up the same age as the kids (now adults) Bella, Shawn D, Brady, Philip, etc so I always watched for their story lines. And the dropped plot lines. Like EJ was first introduced on the show as some world famous race car driver.
My mom always watched DOOL, Another World, Santa Barbara and then sporadically GH. Chris's mom watched AMC and my Aunt was a OLTL fanatic. I was DOOL, Passions and sporadic GH.

Mom, Grandma & me = DOOL & Another World Grandma added Santa Barbara to her "stories" while I got into GH because of an old girlfriend. My most favorite was always DOOL and so it's good to be home again

I was raised on CBS soaps. Grandma and Mom watched As The World Turns. Then my friends and I enjoyed Guiding Light (Kelly and Morgan - best love story!)
But I've been a fan of Y&R for more decades than I care to share. It's recorded every day. Love it.
LOVE the photos Somms!

My mother watched CBS for about 40 years, but she quit after my dad retired. Mrs. Brd watched Y&R for DECADES! She used to go to Berlin with her "boys" and watch taped Y&R in the 80's.
So sad for all of you who were friends of Glebb. Very touching tributes!
We're hosting a big independant schools conference here today. It's screwed up parking, the class schedule and LUNCH. I had said that we ought to cancel school fore the day to accomodate the conference, but no dice.
Nothing exciting here today. Tomorrow, I am supposed to be going Snow Tubing in PA, but I just realized I have no appropriate clothing for a snow adventure, ooops. This should be interesting.

Happy Friday peeps! As long as Tinky watched "Revenge" last night we can now talk about it What an episode! What a rollercoaster ride they take us on. There are so many twists and turns. Just when you think you know what's going to happen it takes a 360 degree turn. LOVE IT!!!!

So glad I watched Tuesday's DOOL online - explained so much of what happened on Wednesday. It's kind of like reading this thread sometimes and not reading back
