Oh we are the Freakies
We are the Freakies
And this is our Freakies Tree
And we never miss a meal
Cause we love our cereal
This is the Big Boss
We call him BossMoss
Make sure you spell it right
Snorkeldorf they call me
So handsome and pretty
Here’s little Hamhose
He’s got a weird nose
Do I really have to sing?
My name is Grumble
I am Cowmumble
You’re standing on my foot
Gargle is his name
Smartness is my game
I know more than you do
And don’t forget me
I’m Goody-Goody
I always do what’s right
For instance, I eat Freakies
cause it’s got a lot of vitamins
and it’s good for me
Oh we are the Freakies
We are the Freakies
And this is our Freakies Tree
Yessir...

Didn't the Freakies have maps on the back of the cereal boxes that you could connect? Or am I thinking of another "joy toy" of my youth?

I loved the Freakies cars! I also had a little walking toy from Grins, Smiles, Giggles and Laughs. I wish I still had it. It's probably worth something now.
I also remember a cereal that was shaped like dragster wheels. It was of the same Cap'n Crunch and Freakies sugar corn variety but it came in regular or strawberry flavors. I can't find it on the internet. I think it was called something like Wheelies or Wheelie-o's or something. Anyone else remember that?

Let's travel back in time for a second...
Thank God It's Friday Lyrics
Artist: Love & Kisses
Friday
(Thank God it's) Friday
Friday
(Thank God it's) Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday...
Hey,
Put a smile on your face,
Things are coming your way,
Out there somewhere tonight,
(It's the right time and place).
I saw you baby,
For the very first time,
Couldn't take my eyes off you,
Girl you just had to be mine.
You're the key I'm dreamin' of,
For it just had to be you,
Girl I know this time
I'll make all my dreams come true.
Hey,
See the stars in his eyes,
And that music in you,
Tells you how you can find
(Your way to paradise)
Friday
(Thank God it's) Friday
Friday
(Thank God it's) Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday...
Hey,
Put a smile on your face,
Things are coming your way,
Out there somewhere tonight
(It's the right time and place)
Hey,
See the stars in his eyes,
Tells you how you can find love...

Ok here's a really challenge. I've been trying to remember the names of two game shows for a very long time and I can't find them anywhere.
The first was a stunt-type of show with several 4-man teams that were identified by colors. The blue team, red team, gold team, etc. They had to do things like move pie tins filled with oatmeal along the floor with broom handles while blindfolded and such. Later, there was a celebrity version that always seemed to have the cast of the Logan's Run TV series.
The other consisted of a giant board of squares in which one contestant tried to advance from square to square answering questions and the opponent strategically placed blocks in their path. The bonus round was a long series of monsters whose arms blocked the path of the contestant. If the contestant answered correctly, the arm would lift and they would jump to the next monster. Due to poor design, if the contestant merely walked to the next monster, they would invariably trip over something on the floor.
Do these ring a bell with anyone?

Mr. Matt, I remember both of those. Now I will be driving myself crazy thinking of the names. I saw the square hopping show on the game show channel not too long ago, I think.
