Happy, happy birthday D. Now don't you be going all Mrs. Lovett on us!

We have matching male/female purebred Shelties, Christy (Christina of the Cotswolds) and Teddy (Theodore of Tintangle). They'll be 8 in November. They lived here before I did, and it's been the biggest adjustment for me to live with them. I've never had pets before - and as the ruler of the roost here, they have become my 'charge.' As a matter of fact, they're going in today for they're annual teeth cleaning and round of shots.
DG...we didn't have dogs growing up either. I was only allowed a parakette. Now having 2 dogs in the house is an adjustment for me too. Luckily I got them both as puppies, so they both know who the alpha dog is. I couldn't imagine now not having a dog around to greet me when I get home from work or being beside me when I'm not feeling well. They truly are mans best friend.

These two really are very sweet. They were gotten less than a year before Robert's last partner passed away. Christy had bonded with him, and had been somewhat 'adrift' until I came along - and now she won't leave me alone! They're herd dogs, so basically we're constantly being watched and monitered. What they really are is very HAIRY! Shelties have two coats, being from the British Isles originally. I feel like I spend my day with a vacuum as a permanent attachment.
Good morning - rushing in with a fresh pot of coffee (remind me again why I stayed up so late last night...oh yeah, it was to play with all of you!)
Also have a batch of mimosas because we need to continue celebrating DGs birthday (I told you - I'm all about birthdays!)
Boobs - love the new...set! Great choice!
Mom - bringing Lizzie home is going to be SO exciting!
Hi to everyone else. Am looking forward to getting alot done today...and going out again tonight to play.
Oh - and I MISS having a dog! I grew up with labs, and would love, love, love to have a pet...but considering my days are endless and I'm never home I just can't. I don't even have a plant...luckily on weekends I have a 'country' home to run to where I get my fix of nature!!

Morning NYadgal - my birthday request was Hugh dipped in chocolate - could you work on that for me, please?

I just saw that you're already on top of it now move over so I can get on top of it - so to speak.
That's everyone's birthday request, I thought.
Oh DG - if I could, I would serve him to you on a silver platter...(provided you don't mind leftovers )
I will think of you tonight as I feast my eyes on him in the dark...
Hugh in chocolate...there's a fantasy to get my day off to an unproductive start... (do not encourage me in this obsession! Please, I beg you...)
DG - we can share!
I'm still working on the image of the handsome DG with a hose permanently attached! One track mind!

NYadgal - We got the souvenir program when we went, and I now keep it open to the full double page spread of him on our piano. It's the first thing we see when we come downstairs - good morning! I'm afraid I'll be NO HELP WHATSOEVER in discouraging Hugh worship
DG - I have multiple copies of that program...they're well worn.
Certain words pop out at me when reading posts. This time it was "hose" and "on top of". SOMMS is always a bad influence on me !!!

When we watched the DVD of his Oklahoma and he sauntered out in those chaps and leaned up against the windmill I almost passed out.
I had an immediate need to vacumn after his entrance!
Last night he pulled down his gold lame pants so the ladies in the royal box could get a closer look...I don't think my pulse returned to normal until the end of the show...
He is really vamping it up this final week - and I am enjoying every single bump and grind!
ok I need to go take a cold shower and get back to work...this bliss is too much for me.
See you all in a bit!
Good morning. It's much too early for me to be this excited thinking of Hugh bumping and grinding. I don't think you'll find any support here in getting over your Hugh obsession.
Boobs, love the new icon. I've always been a fan of Raquel.
DGrant, once again, Happy Birthday.

Good morning, Nina!
Well, I've got to make my honey his lunch, feed the dogs, water the plants, make the bed, blah, blah, blah. God, I feel like June Cleaver - only without the pearls and lithium.
Good morning my dear Siren, Nina. It's always nice to see you up bright and early after a late night. I wish we could get the boy back to bring us our coffee again. I miss him so much.
I'm getting a little worried about him. I haven't heard from him in nearly a week, I believe. I can only hope it's because he's pounding the pavement, meeting with casting directors and going to auditions.
Perhaps the boy is moving. Did we establish that he had found a home?
hey guys,
I'm here. I'm alive. It's just been crazy. Sorry! Things will return to normal within a few weeks and I'll be on a more normal schedule. I'm just having to work wild hours, plus I'm recording two more demos again and having rehearsals (one's the full musical, the other is just a stand-alone song) in between and then there's the dog and all of the other life things...
man, I sound like a breathless teenager! But it's been a wild ride the last few weeks.
I spoke to him yesterday. He seems to be doing a lot of running around. He just zips in and zips out. Once things calm down for him, he'll be back posting and serving full throttle. We all must be patient and get our own coffee for now. UGH.
I guess I was typing while he flew in and probably flew out again !!!!
