I used to love skating backwards. Normal, 4 wheel rollerskates with the little rubber stopper in the front. I think I would seriously injure myself on rollerblades.

She ran in a different circle than I did, but we were friends because our families knew eachother... a long, long time ago...

I remember being THRILLED watching Peggy Fleming win the gold in the Olympics.

And then Dorothy Hammill (I even cut my hair to match hers...)...

Ice skating and me did not get along, though I tried my darndest to get the hang of it. Just not coordinated enough.
