Just to be clear - I'm talking about the Boris Karloff one - not that . . . whatever it was a few years ago.
No pots and pans over here. My dad was a cop. You can figure it out. I had my little metal noisemaker that went round and round and the metal piece moved opposite another metal piece to make this really weird noise.

Yes - greenstamps. And plaid stamps, too.
I remember sticking them in those little books - and then going to the 'showroom' to pick out all sorts of exciting things!
Reminds me of a Brady Bunch episode...lol!!
Re - the Grinch. You didn't have to qualify which one with this group! The original, of course!!

trick-or-treating.
The sad reality in my hometown was when a friend of mine was murdered on 'hackers night'. I'm sure you all heard about it - it was national news. Martha Moxley. The stories I could tell...but that's an entirely different thread, and probably even a different website.
What was your favorite Halloween candy? I loved getting Nestle Crunch bars.

I lived behind a Roller Rink
Everynight I would fall asleep to the sound of the music from the rink. I can still hear it.
