OK. I'll admit to being the contrarian....I walked out of I AM MY OWN WIFE.
Couldn't stand the performance.
What about telethons? Jerry Lewis annual appeal...was it March of Dimes?

Yes - greenstamps. And plaid stamps, too.
I remember sticking them in those little books - and then going to the 'showroom' to pick out all sorts of exciting things!
Reminds me of a Brady Bunch episode...lol!!

trick-or-treating.
The sad reality in my hometown was when a friend of mine was murdered on 'hackers night'. I'm sure you all heard about it - it was national news. Martha Moxley. The stories I could tell...but that's an entirely different thread, and probably even a different website.
What was your favorite Halloween candy? I loved getting Nestle Crunch bars.

I lived behind a Roller Rink
Everynight I would fall asleep to the sound of the music from the rink. I can still hear it.
