Ok - this is REALLY obscure - but do any of you ladies remember a movie that would have been shown in 'health' class - about the big 'topic' - which 'starred' a young girl who wanted a yellow dress, but it was too 'grown up' for her BUT once she finally got her p-word (can we say that now?), her Mom bought it for her?....

For YEARS whenever one of my friends wore a yellow dress we would laugh about that movie...

It was back in the very late '60's/early 70's...so probably too long ago to remember. One of those funny memories that stays with you.

Ok - back to fun less-obscure stuff...

I loved the Fifth Dimension's version of that...

and... Three Dog Night...the GrassRoots...Steppenwolf...

anyone in the NYC area remember a Saturday afternoon show called WOW or something where they played the latest music and there were psychedelic images of dancers on the screen...?
I think it was on WPIX
