Remember Josephine the Plumber...

And the little girls with the really thick southern accents on the Shake N Bake Commercial: "And we Hey-yulped!"

And the Doublemint Twins

And the big round Kool-Aid pitcher with the smiling face on the side...always wanted one of those.

What did that Swedish nymph advertise, the ad that said Take it, Take it all off. It was a brand of shaving cream. Was it Noxema?

Kurt Russel was yummy...still is. Also the otehr hunks of that era, Joe Namath, Lyle Wagoner, John Davidson, Mark Spitz with his covered in medals, Chad Everette (still hot now close to 70)and that georgeous hunk from Adam 12. What was his name? The tall dark one who just beckoned to have police uniform torn from his body.

I remember the vamping in the Noxema commercial, too!

And the magazine ads with the "Breck Girl"...

And the original Campbell Soups kids.

And...can you still by Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls?

Did you learn to read with Dick and Jane

We had ancient books that used Alice, Jerry, and Jyp(a dog)

There were also the ladies who had short lived popularity. They were the biggest tv stars of the 70's then faded out with along with the fashions of the time.

Kay Lenz (former Mrs David Cassidy), Bridgette Hanley (Here Come The Brides), Dianna Conova (Soap), Pamela Sue Martin (Hardey Boys/Nancy Drew)

I saw Diana Canova on Broadway in "They're Playing Our Song" with the Ted Wass also from "Soap".
I also saw Dinah Manoff from "Soap" in "Leader of the Pack" on B'Way.
