Well, ladies, I have house guests showing up tomorrow for a ten-day stay - and if I don't do some things to get ready, they may have to sleep outside.
Thanks again for the fun! Here's to all the milestones - especially the fact that we can still remember anything at all
Til the next time, good night.
night DG!

We've been compared to "Cats"??? LOL
Lurkers are welcome--they just may get very lost in our meanderings.
Again from Newhart: EVERY time they entered a room:
"Hello, my name is Larry. And this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother, Darryl." And Larry had such a sweet crush on "Miss Stephanie" (Julia Duffy)
Patrick Wilson Fans --New "UnOfficial Fan Site". Come check us out!
Fine.
I suppose I'll just go back to the playpen then.
night, beacon!
night, DGrant!
night, Jose!
Cheers to the visitors - please join us in a glass of bubbly to celebrate our achievement. (And, we'll just ignore the CATS/Chorus Line remark )
Just teasing Gov! Just don't get to lost in our strange trip down memory lane!
beacon - I'm laughing out loud. Darryl/Darryl - that was the funniest!!!
mom - you're right. Boobs is the best at Google!
Boobs is going to go BLIND reading all of this to catch up when he gets home!!!
Boobs - here's another glass of champagne to keep you going!
I actually understand a great deal more of this thread than I thought I would. It's probably the I Love the __'s series, except that none of them had any knowledge of the 70's.

Governor - I think we could all be hired as consultants for that series!!!
FROM THE EDDIE VARLEY THREAD:
************************************************************
Pathethic!! ONE page?? You realize that this thread has been overtaken by the smoking thread?? It's like CATS beating A CHORUS LINE!!
We ain't closed yet--get crackin'!
************************************************************
HAH! NEVER!!
Yeah the soda cans are not pop tops!
That was not the slang we used. The problem w/ That 70's show is tyhat the writers were all born in the 80's (or later!)
The gap has actually widened to 3 pages now.
mom - we have an entire show of our own on this thread!
The funny thing is that Eric's basement looks just like my best friend Donnas'!
In honor of our Achievement, I've updated my icon.
CHEERS!
basement decor...it was all pretty standard. And pretty ugly!
I like it! I raise my glass of milk to you, and tour new icon!
why thank you, mom!
a little party is a good thing...
The layout, the clothes line, the bookcase where Eric hides his Candyland money. It is really freaky. Donna and I get a huge giggle over it.
...too bad Topher Grace was never in my basement.
He's one of those guys who is adorable in a wierd way. (And, was actually geeky hot in 'Win a Date w/ Tad Hamilton'...)
ok, friends - it's time for me to tuck in.
I have an 8am appt. with the eye doctor (how grown up of me!). I think the strain of being addicted to this thread is getting to my eyes...lol.
I'll be back a bit later tomorrow morning - so if you see someone stumbling around wearing sunglasses inside...'tis me!
Cheers!
Thanks for the fun party, as always!
(Boobs - the rest of the champagne is in the refrigerator. It's all yours!)
WOW !!!! You all make Boobs so proud...alot to catch up on (I am Blind now NYadgal - LOL), but we past the Eddie what's his name thread..LOL !!!! Cheers...the champagne is delish.
I'll try to make my night short. Opening act for Cyndi was a singer named Jennifers Marks...very sweet sound...plays guitar...enjoyed her..thought of you guys because she does a song called "My High School Reunion" and talks about all the people like the Prom Queen who is now fat. Very cute.
When she was over there was a break and you think Miss Lauper is coming out...NO..a surprise...Taylor Dane !!! Remember her gang? Yes she did "Tell It To My Heart" and my favorite of hers "I'll Always Love You". The girl can sing, but her face doesn't change...no it's frozen...same expression...do you think botox??? Anywho... she's done..instrument change...lights go out, piano starts to play and the "Tremendous, yes Tremendous" Cyndi Lauper walks out singing the classic.."At Last"...yes the crowd was uncontrollable. She sings that song and you melt. She had the crowd on our feet all night. Does all her classics and again she gets me..tears pouring down my face when she does "True Colors" of course she tells you the whole story of her friend who died from AIDS before they even knew about the virus and her sister being a lesbian and that she's a PFLAG and then she drapes a rainbow flag that someone made for her, over her shoulder and starts the song out with just a guitar and then a violin comes in...kills me everytime. For her encore, Taylor Dane comes out with her and they sing a duet of "Time After Time"...it was amazing. Of course the final song of the evening was..."Girls Just Want To Have Fun." If any of you ever have the chance to see her in concert, please don't hesitate. Hope that wasn't too long.

Boobs - we were sure you were having a great time! You were referenced often, and toasted as well
I love her - she's always been very willing to be REAL!
