He was great in School of Rock, which would be perfect for a stage musical.

He was also good in King Kong, Please Be Kind - Rewind, and the Panda movies.

But I agree he can definitely grate on the nerves when not well directed.

I think he's going to be perfect as a "disparaging message board poster". Plus Kauffman's films are always worth checking out.

I absolutely insist that James Marsden plays the role of Madbrian in this movie.
