As a former Chick-fil-A employee of 2.5 years, I am shocked to hear how some people here think it is the same processed chicken!
The chickens have a healthy corn-fed diet and are not tortured. The food is QUALITY. The fruit is a combination of local produce (strawberries), canned tangerines, and apples and grapes that are shipped in. The fried chicken sandwich, nuggets, and strips are hand-breaded.
The company treats their employees remarkably well. I received THREE RAISES within ONE YEAR, including a promotion. We always get Sundays off. Each employee is trained by first watching 3-days worth of training videos, followed by six multiple choice tests, and then get one-on-one shadowing of a Certified Trainer.
They have the highest standards of most restaurant chains, including non-fast food, too! They ensure that each employee is trained in customer service, health & safety, and product descriptions. They teach us to go above-and-beyond what our customers expect of us. We go out into the dining area and get your trash, bring you free refills to your table, and give children balloons.
All Chick-fil-As accept expired coupons, coupons for other locations, and sometimes even competitor coupons.
It's unheard-of for a fast food chain to attain such high-quality of product & services.
