I was hoping there would be a thread about this. He was on The View this morning and showed a few things he came up with. I wasn't crazy about them for Whoopie on the Tonys. They were too "Hollywood". I would like to see Whoopie a little more casual at the Tonys for some reason. JMO

I wasn't wild about his samples either. Most of his pieces look the way his hair looks-like a bird ready to take off.

I love Christian, and love that he'll be making some $$$. This may also mean he'll show up on The View.

I get what you're saying, a gown wouldn't be right for Ellen, but there's a difference. Ellen always looks put together. Her hair looks great, her highlights are flawless, she's immaculate and she is wearing perfectly tailored suit. Whoopi HAS shown up in dresses, but more often than not they are ill-fitting and ugly. And she looks like she just doesn't give a crap. Hopefully Christian will make something Whoopi will feel comfortable and look terrific in.

I LOVE WHOOPI. I missed the VIEW this morning. I would have loved to have seen that. Whoopi does not look like a Tranny.
Hope she wears something with rhinestones or sequence. She would look good in silk and an exotic asian style. I would love to see her hair done differently maybe up and away from her face.
Whoopi is a fantastic performer and I love her.
Hope her jokes are written by the g-d of award shows the one and only VILANCH.
Maybe she should wear a tee shirt!
