I've been listening for almost two months now. Only CD I have gotten that is new so far is Josh Groban's Noel. Not bad, especially if you are a fan of his. I think there are like 12 or 13 tracks.

I don't start listening till the day after thanksgiving. Any earlier is too early to get into the holiday spirit for me.

But apparently I'm in the minority because I was at my local mall yesterday and they were putting up the Christmas decorations and playing Christmas music already. I think it's ridiculous to be putting holiday stuff up already. I mean, at least wait till after Holloween!

I too just need to wait at least until after Halloween. (But not much after!)

I already ordered the new Carols for a Cure cd. Can't wait to get it and listen to it!

"We Need a Little Christmas" has been in my head all day, and I don't know why. I don't even like that song.

Mauriposa- SAME! Although, I am choosing to blame it on that thread that says "We need a little Tanny" Cause every time I see it i think "We need a little Christmas, right this very minute." That might be what is causing it to be stuck in our heads.

I've been listening to Josh Groban ever since I got the CD about a week ago. Usually I won't start listening to Christmas music until about the middle of November, but I'm going to make an exception for Josh! re: Christmas Music

Not yet, but every once in a while I will turn a tune on.
I work in Hallmark. We started putting out Christmas stuff (okay, just ornaments) in July. It's so early that it's ridiculous. We already have other Christmas merchandise out, we put it out last week. As soon as Halloween is over, all of the Christmas merchandise will be put out for the Open House (very important weekend where they show the X-mas stuff). There will be one small island for Thanksgiving lol

I'm still looking to do serious harm to the people who wrote, sing and produced that crappy "Christmas Shoes" song. You know the one about the little kid that needs to buy a pair of shoes for his mother because she's about to die and go meet Jesus and oh yeah, it just happens to be Christmas. This song needs to be wiped off the face of the Earth.

I'm with you on that one, Goth. I hate that song. It makes my best friend cry (because she cries at everything), so every year our other friends put in on to try to get going. Last year, though, we fought back by singing RENT at the top of our lungs (because they hate it) until they surrendered.

I just got my Josh Groban christmas cd so I will add that to a very short list of holiday cd's that I listen to. Micheal Ball is my number one that I listen to I love his christmas cd. The rest I actually do on vinyl ....Ed Ames, Bing Crosby, Rosemary clooney and Andy Williams. Oh and Billy Squires "Christmas is the "Time To Say I Love You". I am a sap for old traditional christmas songs.

Oh, I can't wait to bring out the Julie Andrews Christmas albums. Unfortunately, I have to wait until after Halloween, or I'll go crazy.

I also hate Christmas Shoes. What self-important bull.

My school chorus started their "Holiday Music" a few weeks ago. All the other classes will start their "holiday music" for the "holiday concert" next week, because I just can't bring myself to start it before Halloween is over! (Plus there's just too many cool Halloween songs to sing in Elementary school! re: Christmas Music )

My 3 top Christmas Cds are by The Carpenters, Clay Aiken and Bing Crosby. I almost bought Josh Groban's, I love his voice, but I found Noel to be too mournful for my taste. He's as serious as a heart attack and I don't want to be tempted to slit my wrists and become just another holiday season statistic.

I'd like to get the Josh Groban cd, but I refuse to buy any more cds that have Ave Maria on them. Everyone does that song and they all do it the same way. There are plenty of other Christmas songs that haven't had as many recordings.

This LDS station (97.5 - The Oasis) is great.
Even better music than LITE FM in Chi.

Bette is great and I still love Nancy Lamott.
Anyone checked out Marie Osmond's newbie?
Meanwhile the radio is more than sufficiant.
This station here in SLC plays a few old Steve and Edie's that I've been looking for on iTunes for a long time!
