i LOVE rocko's modern life! and are you afraid of the dark, too. i remember when i was younger that show actually used to scare me.
i get this weird channel on satellite that plays all of nick's classic game shows 24/7. i watch that channel a little bit more than i'm willing to share...

I had a friend who really wanted to do Guts, but that was never my ambition. If any game show looked plausible to me, it was Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?

Posted: 2/9/05 at 5:06pmthey should have some "guts" episodes too. i really liked that show. i second the motion for pete and pete (remember when little pete got the presidential marshmellow up his nose?) and are you afriad of the dark, although the latter is available on various ebay videos circulating around. maybe there could be a whole "snick" collecters set?

Posted: 2/9/05 at 5:23pmwhat about roundhouse? please tell me someone else remembers roundhouse... and even all that, with the original cast... not the crap they have on now. i used to love salute your shorts and hey dude though. and ahh! real monsters, and ren & stimpy, and double dare (the family one was ok, but double dare was better), and maya the bee and david the nome was ok, and i hated eureka's castle. but what about my little poinies and rainbow brite? (i know, those two were disney, but whatever). and oh yeah, my all time favorite... thunder... Thunder... THUNDER... THUNDERCATS! HOOOOOOOO!

Oh, MY God... I was just about to mention ROUNDHOUSE! That show was SO GOOD!!! It was on late, like at 9:30, I think. It used to close out the Saturday night SNICK line-up, which went from 8:00 to 10:00.
Other favorite Nickelodeon shows: THE SECRET WORLD OF ALEX MACK, THE MYSTERY FILES OF SHELBY WOO, CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL, ALL THAT (original cast!), HEY DUDE! and so many more.
I JUST had a conversation with my friends two days ago about all of these "old-school" Nickelodeon show! What a coincidence that I find out that CLARISSA is coming out on DVD!!! I've got to get them!

Posted: 2/9/05 at 5:45pmI just recall that young Melissa Joan Hart had terrible teeth - huge spaces on the sides. She got them fixed for Sabrina.

Posted: 2/9/05 at 6:29pmSpeaking of "Carmen Sandiego", I think that either Ashley Judd or Angelina Jolie should do a live-action version of it. That'd be awesome.

ahh I am in heaven right now!!! It's so weird...a year or so ago when they used to show Clarissa on the new Noggin network, my little brother and his friends didnt get it...Clarissa dressed "too weird" and it made me feel old cause I always thought Cklarissa rocked!!
oh and don't ge tme started on ROUNDHOUSE...best.show.EVER!! If that comes out of dvd, I will die a happy woman!! ::sigh::
Did anyone else watch Space Cases?? Tha twas my other favorite show! I have old copies I had recorded, but it would be nice to have good quality dvds of that show too! When that got cancelled, I was part of a letter writing campaign where we totally harrassed Herb Scannell (the President of Nick at the time...not sure if he's still there) ahh those were the days!!
