I don't think any of them were really good tonight. This show is nothing like what I imagined. Of course as mom said, I will have to see who ultimately wins, even though this really is not a good show. At least there weren't a bunch of sob stories tonight. It looks like tomorrow is 2 hours- how are they going to fill all that time? The host is not very good either, she seemed to struggle with speaking on the fly tonight.

Totally agree Sesot. See my response to the other thread that was just started tonight on the same subject. mom

I was thinking the same thing. Way too many sob stories. Maybe they will all cancel each other out and the people will vote for the best choir!

I am rooting for Patti. I am from Philly! And yes, she still sounds good, I haven't heard her sing yet, it is still on here in Denver.

Thank heavens team Bolton is out, never have, never will like his voice and his choir should have gone the first night anyways.Patti still has a strong powerhouse voice, but I didn't enjoy the Christmas song her choir did tonight. I jsut didn't feel they did as well as they did the past 2 nights. Blake's choir did much better tonight than last night in my opinion. I enjoyed their Christmas arrangement the best. I couldn't tell if it was the male choir voices weren't quite strong enough or if there was a sound issue, but the women overpowered them when they split into the 2 different songs. I still enjoyed it though. He makes me laugh; of all the celebrities he has the most likable personality by far. What a great sense of humor. My guess is patti's choir will win, but I know country fans can come out in droves to support their own. You never know. I think it will be between Oklahoma and Philly.

I liked Blake's choir's Christmas song the best. His choir was nice and tight sounding even with the 3 Dog Night Joy to the World break.
It was nice to see Patti just go off like she does in concert (I have seen her about 6 times in concert). LOVED the shoes!! Classic Patti kicking off the pumps. A bit tired of the song (Maybe because I have seen her sing it so many tomes) but it was huge for her.
I think all of the choirs are good though. All of the song choices haven't thrilled me though. But the arrangements have been nice.

Ok, I am posting on this one, because the other thread has just gotten ugly and stupid. As I stated before I think Patti will win, unlesss the country fans called in droves which they have been known to do and called in for team Shelton. I think Patti's choirs best night was the first one. I didn't enjoy their arrangements as much last night. I am curious if the other stars had as much help as Patti in developing their choirs. It seems like she brought in several folks to help her. I guess if the rules didn't state otherwise then the others could have done it too- it may have helped. I agree none of the celebrities are actually directing the choirs during the show.
Ok listening to Patti's choir attempting to do a Mary J song- big mistake- the girl singing can't hold a candle to mary J.

I think Patti's choir as a whole is in its own category. If they don't win, I'll be surprised.

I'm posting here instead:
"How did Maria Menounos end up with any sort of job on television? She just drones on in the same monotone voice."
THANK YOU!
My God, I wish the writers weren't on strike! She is horrible! And she also said a few choice words.
I wanted to punch her right in the face when she was trying to get Patti to speak to her after Patti sang SOTR. Couldn't she she that the woman just GAVE IT HER ALL (and almost passed out like Liza) and that she was overcome with emotion?! Instead, she screamed omething like, "Well, damn, I should just kick off my shoes too!"
But what is with the C/W dude? He doesn't even try to pretend he's conduction his choir. He just stands there.

I agree she is not a good host. Who is she anyways- a model? I have never seen her before. She defiantely isn't good at improvising. They should just let Blake take over. He has a great sense of humor and can think on his feet.

She was a runner up in a beauty pageant, then went on to be a tv journalist, maybe on ET.

I hope she does a better job with a written script.

Well she just screwed up again, the list of mistakes keeps growing for the host.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Perhaps this will be her last hosting gig?
Bolton's going to sing? I'm changing the channel. Seriously, his voice hurts my ears.

******Spoiler Alert******
Woah, I didn't see that coming at all. Once team Shelton took third, I thought for sure Patti won. Maybe all of Nick's teeny bopper fans voted. I guess his chance with Flight of the Bumblebee paid off.

Interesting! Once I changed the channel when Bolton came on, I never switched it back. Well, good for the winners!
