You need to learn how to unplug from your various virtual worlds before heading to bed. I promise you'll get more sleep that way. Having a spouse/partner and family also help to ensure this. Perhaps it's time for you to consider both......

I have no addiction and I gain nothing from posting here. I visit this message board on a healthy, periodic basis throughout the work day to kill time and read about Broadway; an art form I very much enjoy and was once a part of.

It is those longtime posters, who have created their own unhealthy virtual universe on here, who get a 'kick' out of stirring the pot by obsessing over alleged trolls (we all saw that with Sue) and unnecessarily provoking those with dissenting opinions (such as myself). You claim that I am the one who does this for a "jolt of dopamine." Yet, you are the one who cannot resist your own urges. You constantly give into them by responding to me, which only makes me post more. It is a vicious cycle; a cycle constructed by many longtime posters, including yourself and Namo.

If you are unable to see that, perhaps your obsession with this particular virtual world -- not very much different from that of a fantasy world created through online gaming -- is dangerously clouding your judgement. If so, I recommend that you unplug...re-prioritize your life...find something better to do than attack a complete stranger you will (probably) never meet in your lifetime.

And that is a perfect example of you propagating the extremely vicious cycle that has been spawned by the posters on here who simply cannot ignore, who cannot unplug, and who cannot turn the other cheek. They must always have the final word or the witty one-liner.

You, in particular, complain to no end about "trolls" and spammers; thus giving them the virtual attention they crave. Your actions attract those kind of people to this message board. Your response, above, is a perfect example. It contributes nothing to the discussion and, in return, only requires me to respond in defense of my viewpoint.

You encourage this behavior because you thrive off it. The same can be said about Borstal, Namo, and a few others.
