I think it was staged as well. However, wouldn't it have been wise for Eminem's publicist to have the two shorty after the incident present an award together to show it was all in good fun? This is good for Sascha Baron Cohen but it makes Eminem look foolish and like a jerk. A publicity stunt that did not work out so well for Eminem. Obviously, there is more to the story and I am dying to hear the rest of what happened.

Obviously the stunt was planned, but I'm not entirely sure Eminem was in on it. He looked genuinely pissed. And let's be honest, since when is Cohen concerned about getting beat up/arrested/sued? It's part of what he does!

My guess, the stunt was planned and Em was in on it.

BUT - I don't think the stunt that occurred was what Em was told was going to happen. He probably thought that Cohen would just land in his lap (not ass up) and then go up on stage.

Eminem is a master showman- his "Homophobia" is a huge part of his appeal to teens. This was a great chance to reassert his claim to be the biggest gaybasher in the world.

Oh I know his following is nothing like it was- but he still has records to sell and this is a perfect opportunity to reach out to his remaining fans. He will do anything to sell records.

totally staged and great publicity for both. Em's CD, while a critical miss is financially poised to be one of his best selling, so it really hasn't tanked. also, Em may be homophobic on recordings, but has become quite chummy with Elton John and has spent time writing at Elton's. its all an act for the cameras.

sashas tush looks just divine...who is doing the waxing for bruno...that must be a full time job.

I had read this:

Life and Style reports that Eminem was in on it. And that he wasn't Cohen's first choice, Paris Hilton was.

The focused in on Eminem's face and he was reacting too early for it to have not been planned.

As for Paris, if they ran it by her, she's a big ass liar because she said she didn't know who it was he landed on or if it was planned on The View.
